The before and after was so shocking because I didn't even realize how much progress had been made! Watching you paint was so hypnotic that the stark difference took me off guard. I love how this piece is evolving! Everything you make is gorgeous.
Slew was saying this a few days ago where people are going to view your art a distance away, so being able to step back is crucial. It’s easy to get wrapped up in the up close detail.
I've been professional for just over 20 years. My working day is get up 6am, I'm at the easel by 8am and I paint until 10pm, 7 days a week, all year long. I mainly sit to paint but do a 10 mile ride every lunchtime on a stationary bike in my studio. Early evening I workout an hour in my garage gym. Only other time I stop is lunch and dinner for a meal. One coffee when I get up is my only stimulant, rest of the day is water and decaf coffee. Been on this schedule for years. 🙂
it makes my entire day when I see you upload, your videos are bursting with personality and insight that makes them so compelling. I really enjoy this composition, maybe even moreso than sinking, and the way you create water texture is captivating, keep it up!! :)
I like your hair cut. while watching your video I was thinking about commenting to take a break and step outside for 20 minutes or so, you did this.. I play Sudoku in the mornings during breakfast, like yourself I play it for longs periods of time. for me numbers take me away from my skin and into their world
I can speak for all artist when I say this: your schedule is unrealistic and pretty unachievable for most artist out there. However, this does give me the motivation to keep pushing myself even if it seems impossible, because you are the inspiration that you are, a lot of us artist will strive to be in the position you’re in; which is selling our work and putting the blood sweat and tears into our creations ❤
As much as I love myself a good painting challenge... This is A LOT. Just this week I finished the challenge to make 6 mixed media gouache sketches in 48 hours that were... a lot. And I am seriously worried about your health. However, it´s your life, it´s your art, you do you. For me, I have not much problem putting myself to do art in my bedroom. For me the problem is to stop for the day at a decent hour. I wrote in my blog 3 tips for getting into the creative mood. No I don´t want to be spammy here. I just think these tips might help you or any other person in the comments: ·Doodle for 15 minutes. At least 3 small bad drawings. ·Journal to let go of any thoughts and write in your agenda whatever you need to do after art. ·Put down the phone and go for a 1h walk before doing art. This is because doomscrolling has such effect that when you close the phone you feel bad. It takes around an hour for the brain to self-regulate. The other option is to stoic-ly do art even tho you feel bad. I personally have adquired this habit that almost every single day I do art. It became a chaotic habit for me to the point once I am in, I cannot stop. I don´t know how to stop. So if these things I do, help you with getting to work! that makes me happy.
@@googleuser3163 So you thought it would be productive to comment "bro just so you know you are acting too feminine". get the wrong impression of me?? what that I'm gay? Fem, unabashed, and I refuse to suppress my character so bigoted people find me palatable.
I just realized that if I work on two pieces, or switch to sketching, I make less mistakes. It is kind of like when you are reading sometimes, after a while you end up reading the same paragraph over and over. So our minds just get tired of the same view/text/sight. And please don’t do this again to yourself. Those energy drinks are really bad for your heart. Make note of that stiffness, etc, and start walking and stretching. You and your work will benefit. But it was a good experiment and gave you, and us, some good insights.✌️♥️🗳️🟦
Ever since I discovered ur channel, I always go back to it for comfort! I’ll soon be a college drop out to find a path (hopefully in art) that I’ll be happy with even tho I’m so lost. Ur videos makes me laugh a lot but specifically motivates me to push further. Also, seeing u do drag makeup, be queer is even more comforting :) I wish u well 🫶
This is just Amazing Is there any chance you will do a video of you painting without any cuts I would love to watch that while drawing and painting And you can't have a painting without pain 😂 And I guess ting?
Hello Tails, I just discovered you on UA-cam. I'm blown away by your talent. Your awesome dynamic personality ,! You mentioned insecurities. .please, you never ever should feel any insecurities in your life. I'm very glad to see your success . You deserve every drop! Please continue...people love you....Stay safe.... and I wish you every success in life.
I don't want to make a canvas! So I just easily lazily order from Sunbelt. However Tails guy did inspire me to use more radiants and like mica, marble, and leaded crushed glass amongst many other things.
That is another beautiful painting in the making! I can’t imagine painting for that long but it’s made me think maybe I can go longer than I think! Thank you for the inspiration ❤ As a youtube creator myself I’m curious where you got the music from, I find it so hard to get good classical music that is royalty free
I just "finished" a digital painting for an illustration class. It took 87 hours. I walked in to crit tierd but proud.... to quote my professor, "It's ok, could use some more time"

Just fyi the way you talk and act might give some people the wrong impression about you.

@@tailsjekel_art Uh, that's exactly what I'm talking about dude

@@tailsjekel_art I just think you're a talented artist and it would be a shame for you let your choice of lifestyle jeopardize that.
