Does this leaf blower have all the features you're looking for? Would you need a cruise control button?
Egos 765 left me wanting more! Nice to see innovation!
I've always wanted to try the Ego. This would be a good comparison.
Ego just released a 800 cfm backpacker for $700
I returned my ryobi 40v and i did the best decision ever tbis new cat 800cfm is awesome
I use it after mowing to clear out the mower deck. It's my go-to!
The same exact tools as the Kress line, Minus the Robotic mowers, push mowers and snowblowers
Yes, Kress and Cat have the same parent company, Positec.
Wow that was a well put together video thank you
Thanks, I appreciate that!👊
Mark I miss the woodworking videos btw. I loved your corn hole and food pantry builds u need more of that kind of content.
Okay, thanks for sharing that. I will keep that in mind. I like a good build project.
Looks like the Kress system
That is correct. Positec is the parent company of Kress and Cat.
They could make a big 24" chainsaw with that battery
Haha, yep I agree it would run that size. It's a beast in their 18" size chainsaw.
Same brand as kress. Looks like they are pushing production on multiple brands and it seems as though they are doing great. I have had the caterpillar phone for the past 2 to 3 years and has been a tank.
Looks like a flamethrower. I like the looks
It awesome, very powerful.
Husqvarna’s is 800CFM and 200MPH where this one is 800CFM and 170MPH. Still this one looks impressive for a battery blower though the runtime stops me from buying either.
That makes my dewalt and millwalkee 20 volt blowers look like a kids toy lol. Thank god I also have a br800x.
The br800 is amazing! I plan to show one in a comparison video pretty soon.
maybe i missed it but, does it have a battery level indicator? letting you know how much battery you have left as your blowing. in leaning into ordering one this week.
thank you in advance.
Yes, the battery itself has a meter gauge on it.
Could you field a question - was given one after a friend passed. Battery charges fully - led all good - blower will not start - worth it to have it fixed or is it done?
That's a good question. I had a battery that showed it was charged, but wouldn't power the unit. I ended up getting a warranty claim and the new battery works just fine now. It could be the blower too. I wonder if it's possible to get a warranty claim?
When the leaf blower was running and it lasted 25 minutes or so at what speed did you have it on one, two, or three,?
I believe it was on high, but not turbo.
A witch's broom :-)
👏👏👏👍👍👍
😁🙌💯
Do you plan on buying the mower?
I'd love to bring it to the channel. It won an award by Popular Mechanics for best heavy duty homeowner push mower.
Looks like a great tool, however, I already have ample battery’s and other tools from ego, Milwaukee, makita, and dewalt and it wouldn’t make sense for me to buy this tool. Plus, I still prefer my br800 for serious work, as it more comfortable to use.
This might make more sense for a homeowner just getting into a new battery platform. I like it for the quick mower deck cleanup in a homeowner setting. I also have a br800 and it's great for a lawncare setup.
I agree. I have Milwaukee and Makita plus an Echo PB 9010T backpack blower 😂
@@MarkThomasBuilder I agree with that. I am a homeowner, and that’s all I use my tools for lol, and I think if I was less of a tool nut I could do with just that blower.
I’ve been looking at this blower for a while because I was attracted to it due to its power and CFM. It also has a good warranty and it’s lightweight but 24 minutes of runtime ? Sorry but that’s crap. I can’t believe it.
now I’m wondering what else I can look at that’s similar, but has better runtime.
I haven't found better runtime unless you get a big backpack battery, like Makita offers. This impressed me for battery power.
My blower tube keeps falling off while in use! Such a pain!
I think mine did in the beginning, but I somehow secured it in place and it's worked fine.
Hey mark are you going on vacation this summer
I'm going to try to. How about you?
@@MarkThomasBuilder going to Florida
@@MarkThomasBuilder have you been to Florida
Yes, several years ago. Nice place!
Is this better than ego blower?
I really like this one, but haven't tested the Ego yet. This has more CFM, so I'd say it's a good choice.
Make a livestream
Okay, I'll keep you posted.
I’m considering selling my husqvarna backpacker 360bt 890 cfm for this.
I just am to the point for yard equipment I’d rather do electric. I’m sick of mixing fuel and changing oil.
This is simple and clean to use. No fumes or engine warmup time.
Electric isn’t reliable!! Dont do electric! You will constantly drain your batteries quick and swapping them out multiple times for a simple job!! Gas you can work
long! And freely! Btw the batteries in this are over $100.00 each and only runs 24 minutes! Only one battery you get so guess what! Your battery runs out! Youre not finishing your work!
@@MarkThomasBuilderonly lasts 24 minutes! The job will not get done! And you lose valuable time for the stupid battery to recharge!! Stop bsing everyone on here! Not everyone is gullible and naive!!
104 decibles is ridiculous
Yippee - it could blow lots of dry leaves. How about a real use test...?
How about blowing the gutters clean or the mower deck?
24 minutes sucks!! It advertises at one hour 10 minutes! And you think 24 minutes is impressive?? Unacceptable for the price and advertised run time! just because the company gave you a free leaf blower you shouldn’t be bias!!
The hour and 10 minutes is at the low speed setting. A setting that would rarely be used.
That thing looks like it's ready to liquify a Russian tank crew.
