I looked up why the ruler has a metal piece in it, and apparently it’s to help keep a straight line when measuring. Since the wood can get janky the metal helps the ruler be useable longer

It made me realize that if he'd just simply counted down to 1, I would have likely gotten a subconscious tension, since countdowns (esp closer u get to 0) are often like... scary? You see countdowns so often for things that are dangerous or risky, like diffusing a bomb, or counting down the hours for someone to return with some sort of (hopefully) good or (potentially) disastrous news, or even counting down for hide and seek and such. Countdowns often subconsciously trigger adrenaline. I wonder if that's what happened in his mind, or if I didn't actually catch onto anything and am completely making it all up 😅
I love these types of videos especially when I’m having anxiety it makes me feel better like the affirmations mixed with the focusing on where he tells me so my mind doesn’t wander
I think his asmr also hits different because you can tell he genuinley enjoys it and wants to help people unlike a lot of artists who seem to do whatever for views ❤️
