The last notes of Local Hero dying out and then the crowd roaring, it’s absolutely spine tingling, I miss Newcastle so much. There is a video on UA-cam of the sound in the city outside the stadium on match day. A goal is scored and the noise that the crowd makes…I can’t describe adequately here how it transports me back to my youth. I used to live on the edge of West Jesmond over the town moor from Leazes Park, just where the ground is, and you could hear that sound drift across on Saturday afternoon. I wasn’t born under the Leazes End but I was definitely born within earshot of it!
Newcastle have the best fans in England. Even with just over 3k away tickets you can hear them at every ground singing. Wor Flags is a big part of the SJP atmosphere and the Gallowgate end is one of the most iconic terraces (seated now) in world football.
As a fan it’s actually at the away games where you get the best feel for the club. That said, when St James is buzzing its really something. For many years it has been so awful their. The club was ‘depressed’ and frankly toxic. Now however, the whole place is like a bayonet charge!
Newcastle is playing good football with limited players and i love it Newcastle at 3 rd ahead of united(who is still thinking they can win the premiere league) 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
@@Og_Loc_2 i am not even Newcastle fan but still i loved it how Newcastle won against united🤣🤣🤣 bruno Fernandez was about to cry on the pitch but i still wonder y erik seven hag didnt play rashford against Newcastle 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣and Antony what a trash player as do wehghost🤡🤡🤡🤡
@@giorgiob8464 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 do you even know what u are talking 🤣🤣🤣🤣 16 points behind from arsenal 11 points from Manchester city and still think you ll win the premiere league and someone was telling me united dont has clown fans but here they are 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
If last year's performance is anything to go buy we will end any dwindling league hopes you had same as we ended your champions league dreams last year 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
no, Newcastle are a different beast. You watch, with that crowd and the philosophy Eddie Howe has instilled. I'd look at a Napoli esque impression in our first season back in the champions league
I'd rather see something you dont see very often than something you see most of the time... plus if you feel like that you basically just want a super league. Other teams should be given the chance to progress. There were times in history when Liverpool and spus weren't at the top either and they had to earn there way there. The newcastle fans will appreciate it much more because they aren't accustomed to it like Liverpool or Tottenham fans are. Yet. Newcastle will probably be in the champions league more often in the future now.

It's sad that the fans are only discussed when the team is doing well. But I'm happy newcastle is getting the praise it deserves.
BIG win for us today
indeed mate. big games coming up

We sold out the ground in the championship, Citeh can't even half fill theirs on Champions league matches.
So would West Ham if they get relegated this season
Brilliant 👌
Lovely hearing Shaka talk about us like this ❤❤

Let's be serious we rather see Liverpool of spurs in the champions league,. First year teams always stink it up and go out in the groups
