I first got into Charlesthefirst after a couple bookings in STL and immediately was drawn to the rubberband thuds and cruds. I love his style and rhythm and creative flow throughout his music especially the natural sounds harvested from mother nature. A friend and I listened to his tunes for about 10 hours straight on the roadtrip through Yellowstone and it was f* perfect. I highly recommend you continue to make music Charles and can't wait to catch you live again!
Listening to his last album in Yellowstone National Park with one of my best friends literally had me crying through my sun glasses. Just peering out onto the landscape of Yellowstone, and coming up onto the Tetons is something I will never forget. God damn it hurts typing this knowing Ill never get to see him in person again. But as I stated up there, this mans is back amongst the cosmos aiding in the infinite dance they do with passing times. They have a whole new soundtrack now.
