It's same like Shankh🐚 we Hindus use in Prayer. It's very very divine and spiritual to us. Shankh was used by many Hindu Gods. We blow it on religious things like festival's Pooja or daily morning and evening Pooja. Shankh js very very sacred to Hindus.We Hindu and Jews have so much spirituality.

Well now I'm confused. I thought it was a silver trumpet that was used to either call the elders/leaders or summons the whole nation or indicated which tribes were to begin movement. Ie. See making of the trumpets in Numbers 10v2 and their use in 10v3 Strongs H2689 versus a shofar H7782 which is not mentioned in this verse. A shofar is H7782/H3104. Also see Number 10:10 for further use of the silver trumpets and not a shofar. I'm really hoping for your clarification to guide me.

I love the Shofar and I blow it whenever my inner voice compels me to do so. Is this ok to do because sometines I do not know what it means. Love your teachings it so clear and uncomplicated.

I feel a strong calling to understand and feel I am not learning fast enough. I do have a question and by no means want to get religious about this, but respectful........is a woman aloud to blow the Shofar at the different festivals....or does it have to be a Rabbi High Priest (excuse my ignorance, I am learning).
