Congratulations, nice job. Just finished watching all of your target alpha videos and really enjoyed them. I also have a target alpha machine and look forward to bringing it back to life. Your videos have given me hope. Again thanks for taking the time to make the videos

I just bought a very clean Target Alpha. That being said, while I consider my self fairly handy and some electronics experience, every time I look into the cabinet, I get a headache. I looks like the space shuttle in there.

I had the same feeling! But once you realize it’s all just switches and there’s a causality to each one, chasing down issues becomes significantly easier. Plus there’s tons of vids on peoples working on Target Alpha that you can use as a resource

@@blahcadepinball Thanks. Well I just had time last night to put machine together. To my dismay, it is malfunctioning. It was running like a top when loaded into the truck. I assume a wheel or relay moved on transportation and now not playing as it should. In a nut shell, when push start button for one player only, players one and four go into game mode. Also, the match light stays on and changes/cycles through while came is playing with every bumper hit by ball. Would you have any suggestion where to start looking based on this. I am making assumption something happened during transport because did not do this when tested game for seller. Any advice appreciated. THX

    Another great video !
Obviously it's hard to say form a youtube video but from that view a bit afar from the pinball, it seems the purple led really standed out from the rest of the pinball. Maybe using a color that matches one of the back board colors (the yellow-orange of "Target Alpha" or the green/blueish from the woman's pants or possibly the red from the man trousers) would make the bumper stand out a bit less.
By the way, what is the title of the music used in the intro/outro and the accelerated sequences ?
    Thanks!

I think I've come to the conclusion that I'll just be using Retro Warm White entirely. I still might use incandescent bulbs for GI on the playfield though. The other idea I am toying with is changing all the white 1" posts to clear, swapping the upper opaque red lane plastics for translucent red, and then using translucent clear rubber from Titan Pinball with purple rubber on the flippers. Should give the 'spacey' feel I'm looking for, with the translucent rubber glowing from the GI lights.
As for the song, no idea what it's called! It's a 'copyright free' tune found in iMovie with the Neon theme.

@@blahcadepinball Thanks ! iMovie+Neon Theme was enough for me to find a video with it. There's even a "iMovie Neon Music Theme Extended Loop " that last 10 minutes... might be needed for that loooooong accelerated sequence of playfield clean up and waxing... 😉
