Hey good to see another video from you. I’ve got a 2014 Big Horn with 122K miles and the 5.7. Mine has a flow master muffler that was already on the truck when I bought it. Sounds very similar to yours. Maybe not quite as loud. I love my truck. No major issues. No “hemi tick”. Everything still works. Can’t complain. Supposedly the 2014 is the absolute worst, most trouble-prone year in history for these trucks, but I’ve been very blessed. Keep up the great videos my friend!
Thank you. Ya the early trucks for the 4th gen are the most problematic but I've heard more so like the 09-12 having bad issues. over the years ram has tried to solve some of it's issues but either way it seems like you have a good truck on your hands!
potentially yes, I mean that's 25 liters which is roughly like 55 lbs. I personally don't see how the extra 50ish lbs would effect the truck but it certainly could.
Hello idk why when I did my muffler delete with a Y pipe i didn’t feel my truck the same power as it had it feels slower now idk if I should get a flow master muffler or js put the stock muffler back on because it don’t feel the same no more it feels slower now tbh
Wow I love that Hemi Rumble. Your right about the power. I'm coming from an 08 Sierra 1500 5.3 and it's night and day difference! The hemi feels like it has a 100 more horse than the 5.3. I'm hoping my ram is as reliable as my Sierra was. It was stellar in reliability in the 6 years I owned it. Hey would you ever consider putting a cam in your Ram? Seems like that me be the next step. Your a mechanic too you could probably d.i.y it lol.
ya the hemi is powerful unit and even in the pick ups they still have great get up and go. honestly, at the moment probably not, it's my daily driver and unless something breaks I'll probably leave it stockish until I buy my next truck. Once, I have another daily I'll probably build the engine see what kind of power I can get out of it!
depends how fast you drive on the highway. 100-115 km\h (60-70mph) it's pretty quiet. but once you get above that the drone is pretty loud. I also have 3.21 gears in the back so my rpms are nice and low at highway speeds. if you have higher gearing I imagine the higher rpms on the higher would make the drone terrible
just had a local muffler shop make it for me. It's honestly just a y-pipe. they charged me like 130 bucks. but I'm pretty sure flowmaster makes them as well and you can order them online
very loud and annoying lol BUT around 90-110 its actually pretty quiet. regardless if you are doing a lot of highway driving it's probably not the best option lol
Tough to tell, It's starting to get colder now here in Ontario so naturally my fuel mileage is going to go down with the colder weather and the winter gas. But I would imagine there isn't much change

Almost a -1/4 tank difference in the muffler deleted clip. Do you think that would account for the top end gains?

Lake Havasu 🌞 Az
18 Ram 1500 5.7 4*4.
thank you sir!
Deleting the mufflers does give you BHP gains.I saw a dyno video and the car had 242bhp after the muffler delete the car went back on the dyno 288bhp
I need that vid man
44bhp🤷🏼
Sounds powerful. 👌
she is lol
About ten gallons less gas in the clip with a muffler delete too
Love the sound of your truck. May do that to mine👍
it does sound great
Is there a drone at highway speed?
depends how fast you drive on the highway. 100-115 km\h (60-70mph) it's pretty quiet. but once you get above that the drone is pretty loud. Where did you get that muffler delete kit?
just had a local muffler shop make it for me. It's honestly just a y-pipe. they charged me like 130 bucks. but I'm pretty sure flowmaster makes them as well and you can order them online
@@TheGettyAdventures thanks😀
How’s the drone at 120km/h?
very loud and annoying lol BUT around 90-110 its actually pretty quiet. regardless if you are doing a lot of highway driving it's probably not the best option lol
what about mpg lol? i mean if you care about that kind of stuff

Any fuel mileage loss?
Felt like it, but always tough to tell because as the weather gets colder the fuel milage goes down.
You just lost your Hemi Man Card!! How dare you say these trucks are not race trucks!!
Nope
the extra noise alone is an added 20 horses at least
Muffler delete sounds like crap for everybody you drive pass. Everybody behind you. If you want a better sound on a v8 put a Flowmaster on it
Each to their own bro. It’s a muffler delete video. Not a silent film. SMH
