I think people worry too much about "too complicated" versions of UnMatched for new players. In my experience it is more important to have strong character roles/archetypes to guide your play rather than just ease-of-use. With that in mind and RobinHood vs Big Foot out of print, this is now my go-to intro set for prospective players. "She is hunting this guy. These guys are meat shields," guides new players better than "they're fighting."
