There is one thing that I personally love about this song; the implications. In either the Will or Helen version, the kids will start singing and then switch to the adult singer before the chorus. Eventually the adults will finish the song. To me this implies that Will and Helen would be together for life, whether it be engagement, or a simple friendship( I'd hoped for the former). It may sound cheesy, but honestly I think it is the sweetest song I've laid ears on.
I dunno. CG would fit the aesthetic of the original game, but NiGHTS' squash-and-stretch style of movement and transformation would work much better in 2D, with the human and Waking World characters animated in a more grounded, realistic style. Think Steven Universe the Movie; NiGHTS and the Marens and Pians would be animated super expressive and bouncy like Spinel, while the humans would be animated like Sadie or Lars. It would also probably be best if it focused on two completely new Perfect Dreamers in a new city, since Claris & Elliot and Helen & Will's arcs are all complete.

I just found what was missing in those last days of Christmas, in fact in the last years. It was this song. I never realized how much I missed this song to actually feel like I had a proper Christmas. I used to play this game so much at my childhood. And playing at Christmas was a must. Alright, this is going to be a little odd. I've never played the original NiGHTs, I was more of a Nintendo kid growing up. I played the sequel on the Wii. Once. A month or so ago, the refrain (without lyrics) got stuck in my head. I have no idea why, it just did. I didn't know what it was, and my brother was stumped for days until we finally figured it out that it was here. I looked up the song on UA-cam and got this, and then it felt like an itch had been scratched. I had finally remembered the song!

I have Journey of Dreams for the Wii (Just got it yesterday). Everyone says it's the worst NiGHTS game and I strongly disagree. Yeah, it's short enough to beat it in one sitting and the voice actors for the kids could use improvement, but it was a really solid game otherwise.

Case in point, the Werehog and the new controls in the NiGHTS sequel. I will fully embrace this game just as I have with Unleashed and the Storybook Sonic games despite their flaws.
