I *HATE* Thunderblight Ganon Edit: For all of the people commenting, yes Thunderblight is easy once you learn to parry. Yes, I have already beaten him and beaten the game. @@daepicturtle9922 i was gonna put him first but. At least in my experience lynels are pretty easier, their moves are really easy to see coming and I've gotten through many lynel fights without getting hit once.
@James Budd ya I kinda agree but I was saying in general, Vah Naboris was one of the first Divine Beasts I went after (Dumb decision) so it was pretty tough but after playing through The Champions Ballad fighting ThunderBlight was pretty easy.

Personally, I've gotten pretty desensitized to dying from playing through God of War in GMGOW mode. Now dying in games is no more than a mild inconvenience. GMGOW changes a man

I remember my first time playing this game(and as my first Zelda game) and unknowingly walking into Gerudo town and getting forced into the divine beast mission and fighting Thunderblight Ganon as my first boss. Dude scared me so bad as a beginner that I would run and hide so many times.
Now I’m basically a white Lynel poacher

yeah same,, it's my first time playing too but I did mipha's divine beast first and this one second lol out of those two (which are the only ones ive done so far) thunderblight was definitely the worst I died like 5 times
Vah Neboris was my 2nd divine beast after Vah Ruta. I can deal with fire and ice just fine but electricity is just a pain in the ass. However I did manage to defeat Thunderblight Ganon on my 2nd try with about 8 hearts, but only because I got really lucky with my flurry rushes though.
I haven't beat a single lynel in this game, they absolutely terrify me lmao

I'm extremely impatient so as soon as I got the paraglider I situated no attention
to king rhoam's speech and went straight to ganon.
Not like I beat him though..

But doesn't he have to defeat the blights anyway? It appears that you fight them if you don't free the divine beasts beforehand before you fight Ganon himself. I guess the cutscene will tell us, if you do all of the memories and divine beasts it shows the champions and the kings spirits fade away.

lol well you played the game the normal way. If I counted all the hours I played the game normally in order to get decent at the game it would be long too
a little tip when you actually play the game: make sure to save after every big batch of food, you'll need it!

Also, fun fact. Saving and then taking a quick death will bring you back to full health instead of having to waste healing items. Better to save them for the fight against Ganon. Being at full health helps a TON in Normal Mode because it prevents death as any hit that is a one shot will leave you with a quarter of a heart instead of killing you, at least most of the time. Master Mode removes this helpful feature. Remembering this is insanely helpful when trying to do Ganon early.

yeah thats a pretty good idea but I like using it at the start personally
"Where am I?" is a pretty common thought I had with the 'dungeons' in BotW. I dislike the 3D map idea. I'm sure it's cool for some, but I have issues with 3D thinking, and with the damn model moving along with Link, it got me lost more than it was ever a help.
well I feel the 3D map was needed. Kinda hard to just use a 2D map for a location with so much elevation. Metroid Prime games also use 3D maps because of that.
CatMuto it took me like three days to get up the castle when I was first starting then I realized it was pointless trying to get up so I left the castle did the rest of the main quests and went back to the castle and just swam up the waterfalls

Thankfully right around the same Smash Ultimate came out Nintendo backed off on their strict claiming.. they only did it cuz of Smash Ultimate dropping and everyone would be making videos on it
That was really great; thank you MrNiceguy. I wish there were more attempts on UA-cam of straight to Ganon without sequence breaking: it's a challenge that people with ordinary gaming ability can have fun with, and the difficulty can be adjusted so well -- just collect a few more or a few less items before trying. You had to sequence break at the end of the first fight with Calamity, but never mind, it's really hard. If more people uploaded their attempts we could find what the minimum preparation for the fight necessary is: I don't know whether all of the bosses have a laser-cannon attack: if yes and one was really good with the shield then all one would need would be a pot-li; but then again, I think that sort of practice is moving into speed-running so forget about that option.
