Bad for business has lyrics like “if I just make happy songs, will anybody sing along” and she talks about showing up to work late because of him. She’s expressing that he might make her happy and might be good for her heart, but he’s such a distraction that he’s bad for business. Plus the fact that he makes her happy so her songs will become happy (she’s explained that her songs are like a diary for her) and if her songs are happy, will people be interested cus we’re in an era of music where sad and heartbreak is relatable and popular but positive songs sorta aren’t relevant rn. So in general, he’s bad for her business and career.
If you like Nonsense so much, PLEASE listen to her previous albums. Especially Singular Act I and II. I think you'll vibe with them both. Sue Me is a specific song that comes to mind (it's also savage).

I swear I didnt expect this album to be THAT amazing. She really upgraded from her last projects. Everything on the album works so well. There is literally no skip in the album. This album seems very well thought out. Very cohesive. Interesting. Creative. Each song fits to the album sound but also has its own aspects. I'm also very glad that Sabrina can be so honest and raw on this album without being too upfront. It's very refreshing and the sounds on the album are not typically pop sounds. I really hope she gets alot of recognition and praise. I swear it might be a reach but.... pop vocal album of the year contestant?
I think that the title of Bad For Business is related to the lyric where she ask herself if she made happy songs would anybody sing along, so he’d be bad for Business as everyone prefers like “sad” songs orrrr the fact that this one person takes too much time from you and you can’t stop being with them that he ends up being bad for business as she can’t do anything else but being with him. That’s how I interpretate that song :)
Now that you love this album, if you want to love it more, listen to the whole album again with the “emails I can’t send” impression, as if they are all email drafts being sung out. It hits so much harder 🥺

Basically because Olivia made it like she got cheated on or something. Olivia was upset they her ex moved on after they broke up, to Sabrina then she made the song “ Drivers License” about the situation. All because Olivia’s ex moved on key word EX. And she was upset about it.
