- Dark and Darker is not available on Steam because they are still in legal battle. You can get it from their website, but be aware there is some risks that servers could be taken down if court orders it.

We are forced to use the dark web (not really) to download launcher and play the game. There is no special magic to it, it is now available on their site.
The company is still in legal battle and that is why you can't get it on Steam and be aware that you could lose your money as the game could be shut down if a court orders it. How do you download? Only Aqua would play a primary range caster like a frontline tank. Never change sir.
Warlock is more of a hybrid-melee caster. They have an incredibly weak start with default kit, but once you get a spell book/crystal ball and a melee weapon you become a really versatile vampire hex blade.

Met a friendly cleric my first game back since the drama. We looted and killed stuff. He sacrificed himself to save me from a wraiths attack by jumping in front of me and the wraith died with 1 more arrow to its leg. I was devastated. Then I got ganged up on by 3 rogues in a squad who were all invid behind a door I opened. 10/10 game

He played baldurs gate on two streams. There is VODS on twitch if you want to watch them. Right now we are editing them, but with Tarkov wipe around the corner we are working on better ways to get more content to everyone. I think 50 bucks is a bit much for what this game offers. And releasing in the shadow of BG3 is questionable. Shouldve waited 2-3 weeks.

Like Jack said, it's 35 for standard edition. Also, most peeps had already pre-ordered BG3, so money was there for DnD anyways. It was both bad n great for the devs to drop it so early
It's 50 dollars for feature complete. If you buy the 35 version you'll have to pay for future maps and stuff.

I am suspicious of every alpha game now being a money grab that won't ever get finished. And then you have Dark and Darker, released under a pending lawsuit on some distributor I've never heard of. Sign me up.
I just wish they actually made a better version of this game. I don't care about the graphics not being outstanding... but the movement AND aiming is SO janky. It's NOT smooth and I think the spell aiming is where the jank really shines. It sorta feels like the movement and aiming from Minecraft, which completely destroys the combat in the game.
Combat and movement definitely won’t get touched it’s been the same through the play tests it’s a dungeons and dragons loot game not naraka blade point my guy
@@iimasheriiol222I understand it's not naraka, but why can't it be closer to Chivalry or Mordhau? Two games with much better movement and combat flow, don't even need the crazy directional hitting and blocking, just make the game FEEL better. Pretty sure there's nothing in the D&D rule book that says all games must feel like absolute jank

Why does it look worse now compared to earlier playtest? After an hour of playing I just can't recommend this game anymore. The first few playtests were amazing, but this EA release is so disappointing.
How's it worse? More classes (one of which is more fleshed out now), more races, almost all maps' visuals updated, plethera of bug fixes, etc. This is the best DnD has been imo
@@slyr0980 It has all the same bugs from the last playtest. Really feels like they haven't done anything between this release and the last playtest besides add Warlock
