Yo what specs would you recommend getting for this kinda work (ae + premiere + plugins, presets and heavy effects)? Im upgrading my macbook and im tryna decide how much RAM to get. i want the m4 max base model but idk if 36GB is enough to fully future proof it. Thoughts?
M4 Max with 36gb will be more than enough to edit with plugins/presets/ae. I'm editing on a 2023 M2 Ultra and I have zero problems running AE and other adobe software. You still get the occasional crash if you mix third party plugins together, but I counteract that by doing multiple render passes each time I add a new effect to a clip. The crashes aren't even because of the hardware, thats on the software. Let me know if that helps!
@ So you don’t think that upgrading the ram would be necessary? I’m worried about plugins like physarum filling up my ram, but my current macbook only has 8GB so i don’t have a great idea of how 36 vs 64 would perform. Thanks for the response
@ I think it will be a next level experience with the 36gb - the more you max it out obviously the performance will be better but for your stuff it will be such a small difference to upgrade from that. You’ll be fine with that chip
I want Venter Visuals as my Main Video Editor 📈 he would make the greatest clips to hit the internet with my footage.
LET'S GET AFTER IT PEOPLE!

Or, if you have the ''error message'' in rotoscoping, you can pre-compose your footage in AE and change the composition frame rate.
Yes 100% either way works! Thanks for your input, always appreciate the different perspectives the community brings to the channel.
Can you make a video on how to do transitions and vfx like THE FINALS' trailers?
