At least getting a grasp on that novel as a non-japanese reader is a blessing. Its not common sense to take that amount of effort to translate a niche novel.

Partially. I rely on DeepL and Anki when there's kanji I don't recognize. Only using MTL and producing a literal translation would make the writing very stiff, though. Everything else is my interpretation of sentence structure/grammar.
