SMTV: Vengeance - Demi-fiend goes full tryhard

I have gone this long under the belief that if you simply kill his demon within a couple turns he won't use Gaea Rage. Apparently I was very wrong, because this absolute pos summoned allies, immediately tried to chaotic will me and then went directly for rage in the next turn.
What is this fight?

Demi fiend does not appreciate rpl phys across the entire party, Tetrakarn, and not killing one of his party members in 3 party turns past the summon

I had a suspicion that it was that attack mirror. I just wasn't sure because Mother Earth doesn't seem to aggravate him the same way.

@@Askeletontrappedinamanbody yeah demi fiend has a weird quirk of not detecting phys block. I reccomend phys blocking on the 3rd party turn after his summon as if you lack the dps you can extend demi fiend’s gaea rage time to the start of his 4th turn
