I love your patterns and sew-alongs - your bedgown, cap pattern, short cloak - fantastic! Do you have plans for more patterns? So happy to hear about the needlebook as well!
Hi Angela, you had mentioned fulling the wool!? I need to ask you what is the percentage of shrinkage a wook flannel will have and what's the best way, temperature and methods to do this? I have 7 yds (2 different colors) and would it be safe to say the 2 colors can be fulled at the same ( together) time ?
Flannels depending on how tightly they are woven can loose 6-8 inches per yard. If you want to shrink it only without causing it to become fuzzy and lofty I would suggest submerging it in very hot water (please do this all at once to avoid a ripple affect from uneven shrinkage). Then you can gently agitate if you wish or you can leave it soaking until the water becomes tepid. Then you can submerge it in a cold water bath, remove, gently wring and then lie flat to dry.
Documentation for linen dyed red!?! Yessssssssss!!!! And that apple green is lovely.
So many exciting things on the way! I already ordered some of the linen canvas to use for making stays.

We have a few in the idea stage! Stay tuned!

Thank you! I'm needing for it to be just a tiny bit thicker than it is, but not fuzzy. It's for a men's military (1750's ) coat.
Is there a maximum number of yards of any one fabric that employees are allowed to purchase so there's enough for customers? ;-)
Haha, I don't think any of our employees have bought ALL of anyone fabric yet.
