This band is one of my favorite ones. This song came up today out if nowhere. Been going through hardships and this song is a reminder of the goal. Time to refocus and get straight again
Ha. One time I was in my Sunday youth class and I had my ear buds in. The teacher asked what I was listening to. I explained it was christian death metal. He said he liked AILD, so we pretty much spent the rest of the class time headbanging to heavy metal. Our teacher is a young guy, so he is flexible.

I'm the sound guy for the youth group at my church and I play WoA through the speakers every Sunday[: And the only reason people don't have these bands playing as worship bands is because the majority doesn't like it, and the majority likes/tolerates softer rock.

In the end, damnation is simply God giving you what you want If you want nothing to do with Him then you will be separated from him for all eternity its not a threat so much as a choice
Its been amazing to watch these guys grow as artists and become the huge powerhouse that they are today. The contrast in the overlapping vocal styles in this song makes it incredible!
Even as an atheist (plz don't flame :( ), I have a lot of respect for these guys. One of the very few talents of the Christian genre that dares to be different, and really succeeded in what they aimed to achieve. War of Ages, keep up the amazing work, and while we may sit on different sides of the fence on religion, my hat comes off to you for your amazing work. I hope you inspire more to break the bonds of this otherwise painfully stale genre and create new amazing work.

The clean vocals are performed by Mark Randazzo. Mark has been touring with WOA for a little over a year now and has become a great friend of the band. They asked him if he would be willing to sing the clean vocals, which would allow [vocalist] Leroy to experiment more on his vocal delivery. Mark happily accepted, which turned out to be great for the record as a whole.

I agree with you though, anyone who is claiming to have all the answers is indeed mistaken, Because none of us do. We stay strong in faith, and use the word as our guide. I'd agree to that. SG doesn't have as heavy breakdowns because they are more to the hardcore side of things, and over all play in a lower tuning. Doesn't matter really because all 3 bands are totally sick and doing amazing things.
I wouldn't say this "destroys" their first two albums. Stand Your Ground was a beast song[: and it's also what old fans love. I have to admit though, the guitar player just keeps getting better and better! He's easily one of the best in the world!
hey, I'm a christian and I love this!!! different styles of music are for different people.. you probably won't find this style in a church because the majority of people in a church don't like this style and can't relate to it.. (depending on the church you go to.. another comment for another time..) doesn't make it any less christian. Besides.. God looks on the heart of a person... play this style with the right heart and a heart that is right and real before God.. and it becomes worship!!
