UPDATE: if you go to your settings in dbd, go to control, then turn up the killer mouse sensitivity to max, you can do the flick without looking up. If you turn up your in game sensitivity, all you have to do is just move your mouse fast to either side and you will be able to flick without looking up.
Would having your frame rate affect the difficulty of pulling off the flight? Cause I'm currently struggling to understand the timing, you have a completely way of defining how the flick is achieved compared to other players who specify flicking but letting go of mouse two mid flick. I should also ask, does holding A or D affect the flick in anyway? Unfortunately having a learning disability is making the flick overwhelming, but I wanna learn it for the hell of it.
I’m not sure if the frame rate has anything to do with it but I’m pretty sure that A or D are too slow to do the flick, you need to use a mouse. If you are having trouble performing the flick with this method, look through the comments of this video for an update comment I made. In that comment I explain a new, easier way to do the flick.
Cheers for the video M8 something that has helped me is changing my dpi I was an oni mine but I found anywhere from 1600-3200 is a comfortable range for me
one thing that can help is, when performing the flick, instead of just moving your mouse to the left or right at the end, you can move the mouse slightly diagonally downwards as well as to the side.
@@totallycoolgaming2750 yeah I tried it a few times and I also think that it doesn’t work. It’s a shame since I actually Main Oni and now I wanna play Chucky more, but it’s just really upsetting that it works only Pc. Either way, thanks for the help, you deserve a sub.
So i imagine this works because there is less circumference at the top and bottom of your camera control globe than in the middle. Meaning the amount of distance from the 'equator' that you start from dictates the max spin that you achieve with the same amount of distance covered when rotating. Neat. Meaning that this could be mastered for precise angles with admittedly difficult practice.
Does this still work? I can't get the flick consistently. I know I am probably messing it up, but im asking if anything has changed since the ptb and live.
I havent tried it yet but do you know if the movement is similar to Oni's flick? With Oni you have to do a mouse movement id describe as an upside down umbrella shape
UPDATE #2: unfortunately, the devs have removed the ability to 180 flick on chucky and this guide is no longer applicable

Oh my god, bro. It is... Brilliant
Please demonstrate us mouse and keyboard interactions on screen.

hey man I tried hard to do my mistake was to let go of power button to soon only let go as you made the flick already
Is this also possible on console? Oni flicks are sadly not, but is it possible with Chucky?
I’m not sure because I haven’t tried it with controller yet but I honestly doubt it.

it still works i’ve spent the last hour practicing vs bots. you might need to turn up your dpi if it is too low.
Yeah, I use a DPI switch. I think its just my timing. It definitely feels alot more strict than Oni's flick. Or even Blight's old J-flick.
Thank you for the confirmation
same as oni flick thx

the way it’s executed is very similar to an oni flick
I tried as described, doesn’t work. He doesn’t want to turn that much. You are cheater! 😂
try turning up your sensitivity. I personally play on a lower sensitivity and in order to make this video I had to increase my dpi by a decent amount.
💀💀 you just suck i got it 1st try
