The ref stopped it to reset because she was throwing him around with Monkey Rolls. And with that happening they got to close to the edge for his comfort. By the time they went to reset the kid didn't want any part of continuing. I actually felt bad for him, seemed like a nice kid, and that fight really seemed to get in his head. We found ourselves cheering and rooting for him against other opponents the rest of the tournament.
@@sectr8747 Thanks! Yeah Kaylee was kinda overwhelming him, it's understandable. Hope he gets to compete against her again some day and have a good fight. I hope he won against at least one of his opponents in the tournament? although that's not really the most important thing, which is to go out there and do your best, win or lose and get experience.
Absolutely! I tell Kaylee all the time, I don't care if she loses. As long as she gave it all she had, than whatever the outcome, it is what it is. And if that outcome is a loss, then she'll have learned from that lose more than most wins can give you.
