That beautiful large bowl that came with a pitcher,, is actually a vintage bathing pan set. Running water was not a blessing yet. The pitcher was filled from well water, brought into the house, poured into the bowl for bathing in your room. Perfect for that era! BTW, Beth sent me!
The pitcher and basin are for washing! I always want to pick them up but I also for some reason feel weird that people have washed themselves with them.. but I thrift sheets and pillow cases all the time. They are always so beautifully made and decorative usually.
I came over from B. Jones Style. Really enjoyed watching this. You have an amazing eye for decor and being a thriftier myself, both you and Beth have giving me great ideas. Thank you 😊
I love all your videos but this one was great! I’m obsessed with anything Jane Austen-ish and I loved Bridgerton. I personally would love it if you explored more into these types of videos where you thrift decor for a certain era or genre. But just know, regardless of what you post, I’ll be watching.
This was a fun collab! I love that you appreciate and give new life to people's (great)grandparent's books. Some thrifts wont even take old books and I think what a shame!
Loved this video! I'm new to the channel and found you through Beth. I've always loved mixing old and new decor pieces, and you did a great job with this!
you find the most amazing books!!! i remember my grandma always had tons of hardcover readers digests. i wish i had them now... modern books just don't have that eye appeal w the gilt edges and embossed print, deckled pages....
obsessed!! I also have hoards of lace for exactly that, just random uses around the house AND I love using it in gift wrapping! Also loved that antique dish and what a score for only $1!
Yes! I was dying to know too! As long as she doesn't disclose the surname. Still want to be respectful. But what if its someone in your family😃 wouldn't that be wild😁
Love the yellow and blue top/dress...colors look great on you !!! Please, please tell me you bought that mirror.....I loved it !!! Fun video....take care and have a Great Weekend !😺🐶
Why is the Funeral March by Chopin, in the background intermix within the melody. I am now going to have da da da duuuum, going like a sound warm in my head for the rest of the day. I came here from Beth Jones' channel. I like the eyelet center runner and the bolt of material but this just not my cup of tea as I am not soo into watching videos on majority homegoods if it does not include DIYs. I had a basket fetish long ago but realize that you can actually have too many of them. Good luck with channel and glad that you step out to bring different stuff to UA-cam.
@@MargoRoth I truly did and I to also use and repurpose a lace pillowcases doilies tassels etc. For other things. Our Decour styles are very similar. I hope you have a great memorial day weekend
This was so much fun to watch. Your final table set up was SO DREAMY!!!! Loved doing this with you!
You are the sweetest!! Such an honor to Collab with you always! 🥺❤️💕

Interesting that a new generation use books as a decor but not for reading. These are seafood forks.
