Keep in mind that not all rust players have 10,000hrs. And the age ranges where some players are little kids who just now learning multiplication and some are 45 year olds who just want to blow off steam after a long shift at work.
I myself was one of those people who watch rust videos for almost a year before I finally got the game myself. So at least I had and idea of what I was doing- But in PvP fights, I can’t tell you how many times I was told that I suck at the game and the only plays I was making early on was rocking a hazy and using a DB. I tried the AK while being fully kitted and got destroyed. The good thing is as long as you stick to the game and not be afraid to take fights- even if you die, you’ll naturally get better over time.
Rust is a tough game to play and even tougher when you got potatoe aim so I get why everyone expects you to be good or at least halfway decent if you going to play a game like rust.
