I just love your videos. You have such a calm style and make it so easy to understand. I bought my Bernina during Covid so no classes. I have had to learn everything from UA-cam. Your videos have been outstanding.
So happy my videos have been helping you learn your machine. I hope they continue to do so. If you have any questions I’ll be happy to help you out if I can. 🥰
WOW!! Your tip for increasing the top thread tension to get better topstitching when the project is on the backside is GENIUS!! I have to try that !! Cody, how do you like to store your Bernina feet?
The videos are great!!! I really appreciate the easy to follow, step by step instructions. Please do step by step videos on how to add a cell phone pocket to the leg of blue jeans just below the front pocket and the best way to hem jeans. Thank you so much 😊
I LOLed when you said the only thing you do by hand is sew on buttons. I used to be the same way...but now I sew buttons on by machine! (as long as they are the flat buttons, can't do shank buttons by machine.)
So Happy to hear that. Well happy to hear you are now using the #10D foot its a magical foot and a quilters best friend that and the 1/4" foot :) Thank you for your positive comment and happy you are enjoying the videos.
I have a 480 and purchased the walking foot set which includes the stitch ditch foot. Works very well. Two questions, would I still have a need for a 10 foot? Also, I used the 5 foot for stitch in the ditch with the needle left one position and that worked well too, although I was told that you shouldn’t use the 5 foot for stitch ditch. Thank you!
So happy you enjoy the channel. That’s a great question. To start the 5 foot only comes as a 5.5 mm stitch width so you are limited on size of stitches and needle moveability. That’s big for me especially when working with 9mm. Also the #5 foot you can’t use every stitch because it has a guide that come all the way to the back of the foot and it is in the way of the needle so you have to be careful because needle can hit that center guide. The #10 foot cakes as 5.5 mm, C 9mm and it comes as a D version to use the dual feed. So the #10D gives you more options 😊
Excellent techniques unveiled…. Superb uses for the 10 foot! ❤

I definitely need the Big Back of Feet.
Oh yes the best Big Book for sure!!!

Hello Cody, I love your shows, Question what the difference from 5D foot and the 10D?

How do I stitch in the ditch for waistbands?
Hey Cody, is there a place to download more decorative stitches for Bernina machines???
Deco bob?
Cody can you interchange foot petal from a Juki to a BERNINA to cut
No only a BERNINA foot peddle can be used on a BERNINA and not on another brand.
