My favourite detail about the movie is the “$9800 envelope”. The Russian pimp saw the short end and called it $9000 and at the end of the movie the girl saw the high end and called it $10,000. A good way of showing how people look at things differently and a good way of reading people for who they are at heart.
Slavi turning down the money was the best thing for all. Slavi and his men’s lives were taken off the Earth, it kicked off Robert’s Campaign to take down the head of the snake in Pushkin, then to top it off Alina ends up getting the money
I think he couldn't sleep because he no longer had purpose. He gave up the life for his wife because his wife gave him that purpose. Without her he just existed. When he began helping others is when I feel he sleep, because his life had meaning again. The killing isn't enjoyable to him. It a means to equalize, to level the score. Fixing himself by fixing others. He gives each one a chance to walk away. That's not a man who kills for enjoyment. He just wants peace.

The last scene you see him posting this just like in the TV series. Edward Woodward played the role of Robert McCall and he was able to give these people a more equal chance for justice.
He was playing a British man that decided to retire from the CIA, which apparently is not an option they retire you. The pilot episode shows McCall trying to negotiate with a man of interest who takes a hostage on the N.Y. Subway, but an agent with a nervous trigger finger killed him & McCall walks away on the assignment & the agency, so then decides to help people in need or people that the police couldn't or didn't want to help. It was a US TV series that was made by Universal (NBC). The show is definitely worth a watch & will give you more background on the character. NBC might have gotten the idea from another show from the UK that Edward Woodward called Callan, you might want to watch/react to the TV movie they made for this show.

The 3 scenes that always gets me is when Teri has arrived a little roughed up,Robert hears her say "oh just someone stupid" about her bruises. Later on Ralphie after fistbumping Robert, notices the bruises on his fist and asks what happened, and Robert replies: "Oh,i hit it on something stupid" (about the guys that roughed up Teri) Robert is smart, sharp and quick with it,he knew she was talking about the same guys he equalized all along. That shows how deep he connected with Teri. No prejudgements towards a young prostitute, just 2 good souls bonding over tea, cakes and a book. The 3rd scene is when Teri finds Robert again at the end,and mentions the same amount of money that Robert tried to buy Teris freedom with. Robert left it behind so that Teri would have financial help to start over fresh,or as Robert also called it "change your world!". I never thought an action movie would get me,but Denzel Washington and Chloë Grace Moretz had some unmatched chemistry on screen in this movie. Wich Denzel also had with Dakota Fanning in Man On Fire. His ability to connect with other actors/actresses,no matter what age is all out impressing. Before this movie i best remembered Chloe from Carrie as Carrie White (Horror from 2013),Hick (2011),Texas Killing Fields (Amazing cast lineup,2011),Big Momma's House 2 (with Martin Lawrence in 2006),and in the tv series My Name Is Earl (2005-2009) One of thoose many "kid stars" that has continued to have success on the big screen also as an adult. Often i have worried about such young talent, seeing how many that ends up on drugs or abuses alcohol in theyr teens/early adulthood, because theyr parents tried to cash in on them as kids, and we never hear of them again. Luckily,Chloe seems to have had a good protective upbringing, she has always seemed healthy and joyfull. Kind of like already mentioned Dakota Fanning, wich im hearing is being re-united all grown up with Denzel Washington in The Equalizer 3. I cant wait for that one!!!
I'm going down and checking out a lot of people's first time. Watching equalizer and I like what I see from a lot of people. The same thing they enjoy it. It reminds them of John Wick even though this movie came out before John Wick. But more importantly, if any of you remember, this is based off of TV show from back in the 80s, my pops and I used to watch It. The difference was Robert McCall. The net was a former British spy that moved to New York City and was helping. People had a bad a** intro 2.
Trigger points, it's called pressure points. But he actually was hitting him in parts of his body where it cuts off the tendons and ligaments, paralyzes the limbs
On another positive note, I just like to say Denzel Washington does the city of Mount Vernon, New York proud? What's where I'm from, and that's where he's from? He's like one of our most famous celebrities to come out of the city. He doesn't forget where he comes from. You always comes through Lowe's to summit. Aqua qualities about the man that may come so great. He never forgets where he comes from. He does the city of Mount Vernon, New York. Very proud, we have other celebrities. But something about Denzel just hold very high
I can't wait till part three. Which is marketed as the final chapter. I don't think it will be. Because there's a lot of movies that say the final in the franchise. Then movie studios make a lot more. If Denzel Washington doesn't want to do more. They'll probably recast Robert and have a prequel then build from their. There's no shame in tearing up at certain scenes in movies. That's why they're there.
Love you guy's.... but why do you show the Russian beating down people... but you never show Denzel (the main character) beating down people.... shouldn't his action scenes be scene as well?????❤❤❤❤❤

John would put up a good fight, but in the end he would get dismantled by the master mr Robert McCall. The "I'm sorry" After the slavi guy died was too his wife. He promised her he wouldn't do or be the man he was before when he was in the CIA.
You block too much video
Equalizer II is somewhat disappointing in my opinion.
That’s so awesome!!
The 2nd is as good as the first one if not better. You will really enjoy it. Great Reaction!
I am really looking forward to it!! Thanks
Love you guy's.... but why do you show the Russian beating down people... but you never show Denzel (the main character) beating down people.... shouldn't his action scenes be scene as well?????❤❤❤❤❤
My recommendation movie for reaction, My Way. Very underrated korean movie about rivalry, friendship, brotherhood. Here's the trailer : ua-cam.com/video/GSSx0ICfEVY/v-deo.html
Yous should watch southpaw, you'll both love it
Appreciate the suggestion!
Robert McCall, a former U.S. Marine and DIA officer,
Folks,You would be Amazed at what some of us Retired Veterans did for jobs or the Ability's We still have. We move slowly by choice. Never underestimate the older folks that cross your Paths.perhaps We can still be of use....is the lesson here.SFC.D.WILSON U.S Airborne Rangers / Cavalry-SPFOR ret. Stay Safe.
Yo this post I saw sparked a fun debate lol who you think would win….
The Equalizer Robert McCall
Or
Baba Yaga John Wick aka mista week lol
Love love love JW, but after much thought and consideration bro The Equalizer kills Baba Yaga 7 times out of 10. He’s just too dam good. He would see everything John would try coming from a mile away and instantly calculate everything and just flawlessly react like he does. John would put up a good fight, but in the end he would get dismantled by the master mr Robert McCall. Lol people lose their minds over me saying he would kill wick, but the mind is the deadliest weapon and he would outsmart him sorry not sorry lol.
there is a part 2 and part 3 is being made this year!
6:17 "Gotta be who you are in this world... Either you're somebody or you're nobody. be right back " ... who knows the reference ?
The "I'm sorry" After the slavi guy died was too his wife. He promised her he wouldn't do or be the man he was before when he was in the CIA. You guys I'm sure know about the 80's show with an old british actor in Denzel's role? Well Denzel was offered the part back then but couldn't do it as he was on st elsewhere. This is the only franchise/character he was in the sequel to. Never did a sequel to any of his movies. Part 3 comes out on Sept 1.
How don't you not know Gladys Knight and the Pips "Midnight Train to Georgia" that w was playing on P.A. system. It's a call back to what he told
The guys he worked with. That he use to be a Pip.😂
Mark Walberg, and Denzel Washington, in "2 Guns" great movie. Great match between those 2.
The Girl at the beginning that he helps is MINDY AKA Hit Girl) from the movie "KICKASS"
You definitely gotta check out The Hurricane. That's one of his best movies.
You have a terrible setup that blocks too much of the movie with your images and it makes your reactions unwatchable.
Gladys Knight and The PIPS! (Midnight Train to Georgia )😊 (He said he was a pip in his earlier life lol ).
I have a Denzel movie for you,he was very young."The Mighty Quinn"
Not Anita Baker. It was Gladys Knight & The Pips!
See the Movie (THE NIGHT COMES FOR YOU) 🔥🔥🔥
