That pineapple looked so yummy! I rooted a pineapple crown and it’s merrily growing. It’ll probably never carry fruit and will have to live inside for a large portion of the year because of the climate in the area where I live. But it’s a fun plant to have and hey: it’s a free plant!
Excellent! move it into full sun and make use of that Florida growing season. My Ginger dropped it's greenery in June but has re-sprouted so it will be indoors again this Winter. Sprouted some Willow cuttings for new trees next year and had a Catalpa tree seedling planted and is now two feet tall, though I'll have to cover it this winter with a clear plastic tent to keep the snows off of it. I love seeing your garden, reminds me of my youth in Florida when you could get almost anything to grow and give you food.
This video was fun. Haven’t checked out the plant channel earlier just becauce our climate is very different. But seeing pineaple as a plant was a new one for me.
@@PlantLifeYT It grows on a moderately sunny windowsill. Now in winter the rays rarely fall on it. But plant looks healthy. It looks more and more like a palm tree because it grows upwards and you can see what looks like a trunk. I wonder how long a pineapple can grow? Do you know?

That is a good question as they normally fruit then die off so I don’t know how long a non fruiting plant will live.
Exciting, enjoy😃
Thank you 🤗
