Italian Sausage is a tradition that I've been doing with my husband for 24 years now. And that will be on the dinner table this year as well. Of course there's always plenty of side dishes. It's a quiet day for us . Such cute project Brenda. FABULOUS! Have a great day everyone. Sending love and big hugs Sherry 💚 ❤
Fabulous bookmarks! I’ve been so focused on flips, pockets, tags and tuck spots I’ve forgotten about the simple bookmark. We spend Christmas in the mountains every year, it’s so tranquil and majestic. Psalm 72:3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the hills, by righteousness.
Good morning Brenda! There’s something so fitting about bookmarks made with book pages. My favourite meal for Christmas is the traditional turkey dinner! Those Christmas “flippy” projects are really cute! Have a blessed day😊💕
Really neat bookmarks, Brenda. I had to grin at how you 'fussy-cut' the bird on one of them. That's my kind of fussy cutting. 🥰 As for your giveaway, yes indeedie. I'd love to have one of these. Your creations are always such fun. And before i specify my favorite Christmas meal, I'd love a video on how you made those 3-sheet flip outs~~~pls~! Ok, for Christmas, I make my own cranberry sauce from fresh cranberries and apples--simmered in apple juice. By simmering it for a while, it makes all the fruit get soft and thick. I also like to make stuffing the way my mother did - with bread cubes and lots of chopped veggies (celery, carrots, onions) - adding poultry spice for flavor. Oh, mushrooms & chestnuts, too. ~~~making me hungry right now!!🙂
Oh Brenda what fun bookmarks! Great use of junk. 🍽️🎄❤ What gorgeous flip tucks and journals! My Mamma's homemade dressing & candied yams, on the sweet side English toffee & pecan pie bars are all my favorite Christmas foods to make and share with friends and family. Love the 😮 surprise! Thank you for all the goodness. Be blessed ❤
I host Christmas Eve dinner for my family. I have nine siblings, each with families of their own, plus their grandchildren. We can have 40+ people for dinner! I make a huge ham and mashed potatoes with ham gravy. Everyone brings a dish to round out the meal. Always delicious. I love your junk journaling style. 💜
Good morning Marybeth we host as well each year. Wow! That must be amazing fun with so much family! We usually have 20-24 people here. Sounds like a delicious meal. Thank you. Have a blessed day 🙏💙
All the tags are beautiful!! I enjoyed watching the process ❤ Beautiful giveaway! We have all our married kids/grandkids come over for the full day, our favorite food is always a big traditional dinner with the words 😋 ❤
LOVELY ephemera!!! LOVE how you wrapped the book page paper around the bookmark!!! LOVE the dangle at the bottom of the bookmark!!! Such LOVELY Christmas journals!!! I'd appreciate seeing how you made the flip/tuck journals. Growing up we always had turkey for Christmas. My husband is Italian, so for the past 30+ years when we celebrate with his family we have homemade Italian Wedding Soup and Lasagna on Christmas. Have a BLESSED day!!!
Hi Brenda, these junk mail projects are fun! I too love the butterflys..so pretty and such beautiful story of transformation. Your Christmas flippideedoodaas are so fun too! My favorite holiday foods are Grandmother's cheese ball and devilled eggs! I use to host Christmas brunch with Potato Cinnamon Rolls and breakfast casseroles but these days we just go wherever the family is gathering. One of my favorite memories is hosting Christmas brunch when I had made tiny gingerbread houses with a notch cut in for the door and that notched out part sat on the tea cups. Some of the family had helped me make them and my little brother made one for his then fiance....she stills has it in her hutch....amazing it didn't draw bugs or dissentigrate over the last 15 or so years. Thanks for all you share!
Wonderful ephemera Brenda, one can never have enough bookmarks in all styles. I have never done one with book pages, I have added it to my list. The naked journals and the flip ones are awesome! If I am honest, my favorite on Christmas is cheesecake with strawberry swirl. When younger our family always had ham on Christmas and pie. Once married my husband’s favorite for Christmas is Lasagna and French bread with a salad, so we make that and then share a juniors small cheesecake, yum! Have a blessed day! Hugs. 🥰💜
Hi Brenda! I find myself making a lot of book marks because I am a reader. I also find myself putting at least one book mark in every journal. LOL Love the book marks! They turned out so cute! Thanks so much for sharing!
Good Morning Brenda!! ☕ Woke up late, Scott just let's me sleep in. Lovely creations!! Great Happy Mail idea!! Cool Happy Accident!! The Cracked Pistachio is my favorite!! Oh I like how you wrap the book page!! OH the "From Friends" is beautiful!! 🎄🎄We spend the holidays with our dogs and kids. I don't know about a favorite meal because we change it every year to make it exciting and different, I guess tamales on Christmas is our favorite!! 🎄🎄 Lovely video my friend!! Much Love and Blessings from Texas!!💕💕
Love all the items you make! We go to my son’s house Christmas Day and my daughter-in-law makes the best roll-ups and those wreaths with the marshmallows and Frosted Flakes!! hard to pick a favorite! I do miss my mom’s homemade yeast rolls. Good luck everyone! The giveaways all look amazing and so generous of you Brenda! (My mom’s maiden name was Clark!)
Good morning TwilaSue, thank you! They all sound yummy! Oh fun! I told my husband and he wonders where you are from? 💙😊 have a blessed day, take care 💙🙏
Good morning Brenda. Oh such pretty packaging. It's great to see others use different colors of ink also ☺ I love how you just roll with it. Weather permitting I will go to Dad's for Christmas. My favorite food used to be pumpkin pie, but now it is Gluten free pumpkin pie pudding as I don't do gluten now :/ I also make my own cranberry sauce from fresh cranberries. Please don't add me in the contest as I have already been blessed so much lately. Hope you have a wonderfully blessed week ☺♥
@@brendaclark2703 I did only for the first year after moving from home and that is only because Mom always did. THEN, game changer, I saw recipes in the newspaper that showed how to cook it and pure' it and then use the fresh stuff. Oh My Goodness, no turning back now. What a difference. YUM!!! Might take a day or so to cook up a few pumpkins, but oh so worth it ♥♥♥
Good morning, Brenda. Your bookmarks are gorgeous and will coordinate with your journals very well. Collaging is a lot of fun. Thank you for the giveaway, but please don't include me. Hubby and I don't do much over the holidays, and I would rather see these beautiful folios and flip-outs go to someone who can fill them with photos and memories of their December and Christmas. As well, I feel like I was spoiled last month by winning Took's amazing prize, which I received last week. I am in love with it, and I have already thanked her directly through her web site. I am hoping you will share how you will use your Collage Starter Kit to give me (and perhaps the other winner) some ideas to get started, and also to promote Took. And it wouldn't be right to go without leaving you a scripture. This one is from yesterday's Verse of the Day - Psalm 12:6 - "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times." Amen. Wishing you a blessed day, and best wishes to all for your giveaway. Hugs, Kitty
