And, with just ONE judge in New York that had already been paid for by Chevron through lobbying, versus the jursidiction of more than 40, Chevron twisted the case in what they literally called "Demonize Donziger" saying that those 40 judges were bribed and blackmailed by Donziger. So, Steven Donziger has been put in house arrest. INDEFINITELY. He's been in house arrest for almost two years now with no end in sight. These are all just modern examples. If you look at history it only gets more depressing. But these are also things we have no control over. 95% of life is things we have no control over. The last 5% is what we do control. We can still do good in a small scale, we can take care of ourselves and those we care about. We can be kind to friends, enemies and strangers alike. We can choose how we react to the obvious decline in the world's ethics. We can choose how we react to the inevitable mortality that faces us all. If we do that, if everybody does that, then the small scale change becomes massive.

I feel you. Same age (I am slightly older. born in january) used to smoke with friends in highschool. Last year I dropped from college and started again but now I am about to drop again. And I am stranded in a distant city far away from everyone that i know. I wish I could just go back to those days and stay there.

I was born 2000, spent middle school and highschool playing on Gmod, early Minecraft, etc. Those days are forever gone, we will always have the memories but that eerie feeling of visiting old servers and maps brings up so many emotions.
