Two Problems occurred during Andy's Lap. (1)►5:48 One of the visor screws fell out, he stopped and got lots of duct-tape from a marshal to tape down the visor. (2)►14:11 Found out after that there was a slight drop in the fuel pressure delivery when he was flat out in top, only noticeable when you put the gauge on it but makes a difference on track for sure. Seemed to be a problem with Kawasaki's across the board for a while. Most 600s are pretty even, just depends on your budget 😂

Roads sure get narrow at 200 mph ... and short. Though 20 min to go 37.73 miles is average of 100 mph or so. Some very tight turns sure does drop the average down to damn that's fast.
Don't lose sight of that fact that A (this is the MGP - amateur version of the TT) and B (this is on a 600cc Supersport bike). The current lap record, held by Peter Hickman is around 20mph quicker than this lap would have been. No matter, these guys are all legends and Mr Farrell, I'll raise a glass to you Sir 🍻🍻🍻
Facinating seeing the real thing. Been playing Ride To The Edge 2 recently on PS4 and it's surprising how accurately such a long circuit is represented. Can manage around 19 min lap on there. The little jump/chicane about a third of the way in is really sneaky on there though.
Even if I was motoGP level of a racer I'd start at the lightweights and then super sport, super stock then of course senior super bikes. Or play the hell out of the isle of man tt video game just like Davey Todd. That's how he said he learned it and onboard videos like you see hear. There is some parts of the track you dont even have to learn I'm ASSUMING because it flows then there is alot of hard braking corners that you have to know way ahead of time. Pretty tricky track.

How many of us that can't get to the Island have their own favorite "mountain course"? Mine starts in Oakland, Maryland. Follow US219 south to US50 east. Ride it to Mount Storm, West Virginia, then turn on WV42 south. Go west on the new US48 to Davis, WV, then back to Oakland on US219. A word of warning: make sure someone knows that you're riding this. Besides the normal hazards, the wildlife features bears and large cats.

Because it chats shit. I regularly pass 200mph on my 1996 Honda Fireblade, not because it is capable of 200+ but because it has had it's gearing changed. Even a stock bikes speedo will give a wildly exaggerated figure at high speeds.
The speedo is a distraction. All riders do this to just focus. They know the gear they need to be in for corners. KNowing you have a speedo to look at is a distraction. Every Supersport rider covers it up if it isnt removed entirely. My case in point would be to copy and paste this link and look at Hickeys dash right at the start as he goes down Bray Hill.
