No issues about his singing or praising Ambekar or Periyar. He's most welcome to do whatever he wants. We've to check if an invocation with Tyagaraja's kriti followed by a formal Puja in some Communist functions are allowed..
Rendering a Tyagaraja Krithi and formal pooja is entirely different. Tyagaraja Krithi can be rendered anywhere, be it at Communist Function or at a Beach. Its a wonderful creation of the art of literature, fiction and composition of music.
The fact that you say you have no issues with his singing or praising Ambedkar or Periyar and then subsequently bringing up kriti, puja and communist function clearly suggests that you are indeed bothered by it!!
