- Cyrus Beschloss, CEO of Generation Lab, joins Morning Joe to discuss the latest college student polling results, revealing that while protests against Israel's actions in Gaza dominate headlines, only a fraction of students actively participate or prioritize this issue: "Despite everything that we've been seeing over two weeks, it's the kitchen table issues, it's the boring stuff for students" that matter most.

@@mombradshaw5528 Judges are not supposed to 'influence' law -- indeed, as the OP said, that's the job of legislators, i.e. elected public servants. Judges are supposed to interpret and apply the law. In fact, I've noticed that many US Americans have this misconception, because from what I can tell, legislative paralysis in the US system has let to the judiciary becoming a political tool -- which is completely backwards compared to the rest of the 'democratic' world.

The most frightening take from this report should be that 13 judges feel this way about valid peaceful protest.
Peaceful protests that ceases a building, hold staff hostage and prevent Jewish students movement?
Chanting intifada and from the river to the sea, as well has taking buildings hostage and not allowing Jewish students or professors from getting to their class or other buildings on campus is quite literally by definition, the opposite of a peaceful protest
@@HeadGunter343GS First, nothing is 'not peaceful' about either of those slogans. Second, many of the students and professors in the protests were, themselves, Jewish. And you have deliberately phrased that to falsely suggest the protests are specifically targeting Jewish staff and students to block them, but this is just how disruptive protests work. When the Vietnam War protesters occupied campus buildings, they were not targeting capitalists or whites or vegetarians or whomever to block them from accessing campus buildings, even if those people were incidentally blocked.

- Music festival was extended by one day as the attack did not happen when it was thought to happen. On whose order?
- Noticing that music festival casualty were less, used IDF to increase the casualties in the music festival. On whose order?
About the student poll - yeah, that sounds about right to me.
George's court of appeals agreed to hear Donald Trump's appeal to remove Fani Willis from the case
They don’t have right to remove Fani Willis from doing her job
George who?
Trump
2024... Btw Trump is no criminal😮😮😮😮
@@josephdan2850She needs removed! She broke Georgian law. If she didn’t, why did one of them have to go? If nothing wrong happened, then why was one of them forced off the case? Duh! She did break the law but the judge was spineless. I watched every bit of that trial. The judge didn’t uphold Georgian law out of fear of reprisals.
Yes....Fanni s a crook!
I thought about their futures after being a pro hamas protestor.
My question is:
How many protestors are students versus non students?
A sampling of 1,250 students on over 100 universities is meaningless.
Cope harder. Your protest "movement" is not catching on

Usa : we want chinese to protest against ccp
Also usa : how dare you protest against your own country ?
sounds like someone never took statistics. That sample size is actually even larger than you would need for the current college population size.

@@aculp324 It really depends on how the sample was taken
Same with Vietnam, women's rights, civil rights, South African apartheid.
Except that in the anti-Vietnam days, students were protesting in favor of progressive Aquarian values, not regressive theocratic groups. I wonder what Tim Leary would think of Hamas and what Hamas would think of Tim.
Most students are normal and hopefully most are not D E I zombies.
Spoken like someone who couldn’t get into a college.

Well we've lost confidence in our Supreme Court.
The problem the US issues to many visas and permanent citizenship. It needs to be dramatically reduced.
The problem with the US is we have too many people with poor grammar skills due to a lack of adequate funding for education so we have a bunch of citizens who do not know the difference between "to" and "too."
"permanent citizenship" 🤦♂️
We should only issue to folks who understand the importance of 2A and the Democrats plans to down our country
@@mattd5681 Man, you guys are really addicted to that drug you call the 2nd Amendment. Ironically, the folks people like you would be more amenable to accepting as immigrants tend to be quite opposed to civilian gun ownership, seeing how European (etc.) societies are so much safer than the US, and we understand why. But yes, gangbangers and other wackos I'm sure are big proponents of the 2A.
@@OnionsUnderSonyasEyes Wow, dismiss the entire argument because of one grammatical error?

My whole family helped erect the civil rights movement. I'm a nurse and vaccine activist from Minneapolis. I work in shelters and involved in activism for improved mental health care. I decided to join MAGA to help shape it from the inside. I'm not bothered by states themselves deciding abortion issues. This solves many conflicts.
Areas themselves will guide how reasonable itself the community will respond to policies in their communities. Going out of state for a medical procedure is common: Canadians often have to come to the states due to lack of providers. Americans go to Mexico for surgery. AND why is abortion not obsolete? Why aren't we charging parents and clinicians to prevent pregnancies, to promote good planning? We don't need excessive procedures to raise risks.
We are way past the time this issue isn't permanently solved and women do not have to worry about a surprise pregnancy. THEY ARE WELL PLANNED. I will work with Republicans and have already spoken to them. They want what's best for women also, despite having fears due to their culture and religious beliefs. Not at all what I espected.
The democrats lie, they own the media. I also want to stop having the government be responsible for our poor and sick. These programs are poorly run and they do not do a good job. I will be involved with making sure urban, under-heard and vulnerable communities will have enough resources to command the execution of them themselves, at the community level. Increase personal wealth - invest in individual business owners and NOT large corporations.
I had no idea that many of my values align with republicans. THE FREEDOM FOR EACH TO CHOOSE. Democrats lied to you. Realignments happen all the time! I'm joining the other side and shaping the party myself! There are little to no MAGA supporters where I live in urban Minneapolis, that means with the freedom we have under republican policies - we can shape our communities as to what works best for us! THINK! If they need our vote, we can better work with them and compromise - WAY BETTER THAN IF WE WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE AISLE. We don't unless we try. Congress is otherwise locked up. Also, start a new party for the rest of you. We can change our political course.
WOW!! & “Simply Stated”:
U GO Dana!!👊🍻🔥🇺🇸
Trump and Republicans are a Facist party! They will severely wound or end democracy in the US
Question is how long these stooges will be on denial!
By far most of Americans oppose these protesters.
No, we dont. I favor isolationism, just walking away from the stupid middle east and letting them do their thing while we fix our problems here at home.
Most Americans also favor a ceasefire in Gaza
Martin Luther king and Malcolm X were hated in their times as well
Yes, most Americans realize that Israel is fighting a common enemy of the people of the US, India, Sri Lanka, Europe, Yemen, etc.
@@legogenius1667but you know that sticking your head in a sand might have consequences for the US right ? If US pulled out from ME and gas prices would start to rise, will you start to care ?
You know, you can have fifteen different issues and be forced to rank them all by number, yet still have them be of similar importance.
Are American normally unable to think about more than one issue at a time?
Gives me hope our college students aren’t coming out as stupid, ignorant and brainwashed as I thought. That’s relieving!
Not stupid or brainwashed?! I would say they are the living embodiment
Right? The protestors are definitely those things. The polling showed only 8 percent of college students are involved in the protests and most college students are more reflective of the rest of the electorate.
Logic be damned on cable these days. This was such a hit piece 😅. Stick ur head in the sand msm… “everything is fine “

Right on. Thanks for being a reasonable person with a brain.
Why do the protesters not protest against Egypt ? Egypt has slam the door closed on all the innocent Palestinian civilians ..

Hamas is an Islamist militant group that spun off from the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood in the late 1980s. It took over the Gaza Strip after defeating its rival political party, Fatah, in elections in 2006
