I use this feature to selectively de noise each take. I make sure that there is a bit of silence at the end of every take, and then I use ozone’s learn function on their spectral de noise plugin. Each take can be perfectly de noised this way. This is better than if I used the same preset for each take because sometimes hvac is on, other times off, (I work somewhere where I have no control over this) or there can be other environmental factors. Event fx are also great if a particular section of a take gets boomy and you need to selectively eq just a bit of a take.
If I was looking to go the automation route, I would put the reverb on a send and automate the send mute. But the event effects route is, indeed, infinitely more efficient.
my method : 1. Duplicate the track after making edits. 2. Remove any events that are not intended for adding reverb (RVB) or delay (DLY). 3. Insert reverb (RVB) or delay (DLY) after the effects that are already included in the original track’s effects chain. 4. Adjust the parameters of the reverb (RVB) or delay (DLY) as needed, or experiment with adding or removing events.
Thanks Gregor! I just made a video on my settings to use the loopback feature (that is available using Quantum interface) on a PC in Ableton Live. I've been asking in the community forums, but no one really seems to know how to do it.
Merry Christmas, and can we use 2 different ARA plugin in one track or events? i cant use melodyne and dynassist at the same time ! improve it please !
I have two questions regarding Event FX: 1. Can I copy Event FX including the settings to another event? 2. Is there a way to turn them into send effects? I would really love to send several single events to a reverb or delay fx channel.
So timely. I was looking for a way to do this a few days ago and now Gregor shows a simple solution!
love this feature, love SO, use it since version 4.
Can’t believe I never knew this was possible. Bro every video y’all have put out the last 3 months has been gold.

Really cool, thank you!
Wow.. cool... That makes stuff a lot more easier. Did'nt know i could do that.
Amazing what about for midi? I could bounce the midi to audio but just curious.

Thanks, Gregor! An event FX that I will SURELY use! Happy New Year!
My favourite feature in Stufio One and the heart of my sound design
Event FX is so handy.
when are coloured track icons coming to studio one??
They seem to purposefully avoid doing things users want and ask for, so if you want it to happen, just never mention it again.
@@Guitarisforgrinsbut do the colors change the sound or improve the audio side of things?
@@Guitarisforgrins I guess you'r new to this community and coming from one full of hate ?
@@sirsilva7079 Why are you asking me this?
@@ludovicthevenet6768 Well, you'd be very wrong.

Thank you and Happy New Year!!
Merry Christmas Gregor 🎉
love it

This was a feature in Cakewalk, already 20 years ago!
Gregor, ist das eine Breitling? ; )
Event FX existed since version 2, if I'm not mistaken.
Thanks Gregor, great reminder! But * new * feature, no, I can do this in version 6.
Merry Christmas, and can we use 2 different ARA plugin in one track or events? i cant use melodyne and dynassist at the same time ! improve it please !
No. Most people would do the melodyne stuff and then bounce that.
رائع جداً 👍

Live looping please
Inside Studio one v7❤
Shouldn’t this be possible with the new Launcher? At least I use it all the time to get ideas out
@binarysun_ I mean live looping, recording this looping in real time
Good job...but...Modulation GUYZ ! Modulation.. we need to design sounds in studio one ..and studio one will definitely goat
Presonus should program a better way of doing this. These sorts of things shouldn't be hidden features & not to mention confusing.
Agreed 👍
Dragging a plugin onto a clip doesn't seem very buried?
