Apple announced their very own credit credit earlier this year at their services keynote in March, and although it was initially only released to select people through random invitations, the card was officially released to the public on August 20th. Now in this video we’re going to take a closer look at the physical card itself and explore what makes the Apple Card different from other credit cards, so you can decide whether or not it’s right for you.
Thanks to Ting for sponsoring this video!

@@TheEpicDiamondMiner It's the other way around. 1. Apple Cards are being used to encourage customers to buy Apple products they cannot afford. 2. Credit cards aren't something you simply switch between, like smart phones. It's a dangerous habit to get into. Apple knows this and is simply locking you further into their ecosystem. Now leaving Apple devices, means a useless Apple Card, and switching again, would give you an even worse credit rating.

My biggest letdown about the Apple Card is that it doesn’t have a web portal for account to connect with financial budgeting sites like Quicken, YouNeedABudget, and Mint. Also, why are you manually entering transactions in a spreadsheet? There are other services that can do that for you.

I love my Apple Card and have since the day it went out for beta. Have yet to encounter an issue and love the clarity with payments, transactions, and cashback. Best part yet is the extremely low APR as I got 12.99% compared to my Discovers outrageous APR. Although its not a great credit card and I won't stay with it forever, for now, it is decent enough to satisfy my needs.

The HARD INQUIRY steals a couple of points from your credit score initially.
HOWEVER, if your available credit increases (and it will), that will help boost your score over time.
All I need for Apple to do is offer better travel points than Capital One Venture.
I like that there's no international fees.
Since I pay back immediately, I'm happy there are no late fees.
What makes no sense is limiting cash back to 1% when the physical card is used.
It's also weird there is no over limit fee. My limit is $10,000. So what you're saying is I can charge $12,000?
I absolutely like how you can do a chat message with the specialists without having to call them. That's pretty awesome.

Then they do Union Pay in China with 1.3 billion people and called it Mi Pay. In India with 1.2 billion people they used ICICI and called it (wait for it) Mi Pay. And then they called it a day, really innovative, like every other Android OEM. Based on the countries they're targeting something tells me that 10 million Greeks are WAY down the list.

@@xo_octavia it is free to apply and the chance for approval is very likely . Loved the fact you could get 3% cash back thru a merchant such: T-Mobile, Walgreen and others too.

I don't have a credit history because I never had a credit card or anything, should I get an apple card? I don't really care about the rewards things on other cards I just want something convenient and easy to use.

It's completely up to you. As your first credit card, I suggest that you should get one from a bank (Chase, Bank of America, Discover, etc.) Almost all have a bonus when you are a first time customer. Do your research first before applying for one. That way you can start building your credit. Make sure that you're responsible enough to pay your monthly balances so you won't have to pay any interest or late payment fees. After that, you can apply for the Apple card for those cash backs. I use my Chase Freedom credit card to pay for things that doesn't support Apple pay because I get 1.5% cash back from it. I don't really use the physical card at all. I just got it just to have it. I actually plan on using it for international trips since there's no foreign transaction fees at all. I hope this can help you make the decision whether to get it or not (yet)

elias_m47 I started off with capital one to build I have two with capital one and I just keep a low balance and use the money I was going to use and put it towards the card to pay the balance off every month on time. I have a limit of 500 and one with 1000 and I stay below 30% I spend about 25 to 30 on the 500$ one and 150 on the 1000 every month and as long as you do that your point on your credit shoots up over 40 points and I always pay the full amount. I also applied for the Apple Card and I was approved for 2500 which I won’t use it unless it’s lil nik nak stuff I’ll buy like on iTunes , App Store and other lil items that’s not two expensive dealing with Apple and I’ll also pay it in full when I do go to use the Apple Card and as long as you don’t go above your means, stay at a low balance plus pay in full I promise u u working your way up to A1 credit
