You'll have to wait a while. On the used market, the 3080 is only now touching below $450 and it allegedly launched at $750 (cough cough). The 4080 super is still above 900... 🥲
@@wellallnasib That's the problem. I'm a bit confused, Now the 9070 is said to be the top card and about 4080 performance across the board, But isn't the 7900xt close to the 4080 as is, Just without the RT performance. And isn't the 7900xtx faster than a 4080, So why not just slash the cost of the XTX and be done with it and let the public decide if RT is important to them. What I’m saying is that on a good day you can nab a 7900xt for £550, This thing has to be no more than that.
leaks have it below a 7900xt but with greatly improved ray trace performance. its also rumored that it could cost $649. i just want to know if there will be higher models.
Didn‘t know you were a Springboks fan? Bottom line, RTX 5080 is going to be way overpriced so looking at 4080 or if AMD can pull a rabbit out of a hat.
AMD will remain an alternative, but not the gpu to buy untill they recruit better people for marketing. or possible they are happy to be a 2nd choice for life, soon to be 3rd now.

It isn't true. These 'leakers' are wrong pretty much all the time.

I’ll just keep my stupidly overpriced 2080ti that I bought at launch and probably should’ve just went with a 1080ti lol!
On the not so bright side they’ll be all over eBay for months for $1300 and not in stock anywhere

I wonder why we need an RTX 4080 competitor from AMD when RX 7900 XTX already doing it... It appears to me like AMD just doing a rebranding of sort...

Yeah, 4080 level with FSR on... Probably
yeah... don't hold your breath... a little more powerful than 7900 gre at best...
