Even though they play to a click, Pau and Aly are masters at playing just milliseconds together before or after the click to really change the mood of the song. Even when the click goes down they never lose their way. I doubt they even hear the click anymore it's been in their ears for so long. Nice reaction. DPA rock.....
Animosity ,es un gran tema de TW que logra que los escuchas participen ,gran riff e interpretacion de Dany ,un tema que te deja un buen mensaje al escucharlo
So there were two nights at this venue. But on both they started by wearing black. They had an intermission during which the studio version of Breathe was played and the audience lit their phone flashlights. Very cool. After the intermission the girls returned dressed in white. Their synchronization and tightness is due to having been through David Bendeth “boot camp” when they recorded their Error album with David as producer.
Ah that makes sense. Wish i could see full 2 shows unfortunately im not that high tier on patreon. And the boot camp sounds awesome. Is there vids of tjat?
Actually, her older sisters call Ale the human metronome, Pau said once that she's like a machine, in addition of having absolute hearing Ale is always on time, always. You will also have a hard time to hear even a couple of wrong notes in an entire show from Ale.
Maybe when their equipment fails (which happens from time to time), because they’ve also said in interviews they use a click track to keep timing. If you compare their live versions with the record version, their timing is perfect and this can only be achieved by the use of a click track.
Animosity really didnt hit me until the webtoon video came out. The animation just added what eas was lacking, i guess. I then binge read I Am The Grim Reaper. 👍 👍. Cant wait for the next installment.
yep thats a problem, go back and re-listen to a warning song and it instantly becomes your new fav again, can't wat for the 15+ more from this concert to be released, i can see dust to dust, ugh, dull knives and when im alone taking no prisoners from this event, then watch revelant come alone and knock em all out the 1st place bucket, crazy i know
Totally good points about tempo and playing to a metronome (a.k.a. click track). a LOT of people don't know that most musicians actually start to play less accurately when the play with a click, because you can get off of it and then you're screwed, and you can easily spent more time focusing on the click than listening to the music you and the other musicians are making. It takes practice and skill and hard work and talent to play perfectly to a click track, and to do so while still playing musically is next level. Obviously lots of great musicians can do that, but lots cannot do that. The Warning certainly do that as well as anyone I've ever heard.
Its insanely hard not to just gap into click tracks and lose yourself in it which in the end could screw up the song. Luckily pau and ale are absolutely amazing on keeping the beat. Even in the rare cases of pau losing/breaking a stick
So, the order of my favorite versions of Animosity would be this: 1. Webtoon 2. Live at the Teatro Metropolitan 3. Live Session 4. Studio Version/Lyric Video I don't know about anyone else, but when I listen to the Live Session version, there's a slightly different tone for the lyric 'mourn again,' that I absolutely love. I haven't heard any other version have the same tone. I also love the rasp in Dany's voice in the Live version at the Teatro Metropolitan too.
@@SychoNation I kind of hope/wish that The Warning could do another collaboration with Webtoon, either an animation for the entire Queen of the Murder Scene album, XXI Century Blood (song, not the album), or another future song.
@@SychoNation Have you watched the first time reaction to the webtoon, by The Warning? It is so sweet. They are such a humble and appreciative set of sisters. Sibling Magic.
The 2nd verse guitar riff , YA!! FREAKIN AWSOME !

@@SychoNation No boot camp videos per se, just what you see in the six Mayday in the Making videos. Or at least I haven't seen any.

Absolute hearing = Perfect pitch. I totally agree!
This wasn't high on my Warning favorites until this concert. Live shows brings out the best of these ladies.
I loved it due to the webtoon music vid but yes live brings out the best
I've heard they rely on Ale with their timing. Apparently, she's a perfectionist when it comes to those issues. 👍⚡⚡⚡
Most def drums and bass are the backbone to every band

@@madmex123 I am sure they were joking. Bendeth did press on them to synchronize better. I haven't paid attention to the difference

They said recently that they use to take their ques off Pau on the drum, but now they que off Ale's bass. 😍🤩⚡⚡⚡🤘💥

They just debuted a new song called More
i would add a fourth video to that consideration - there's a video of them reacting to their first time seeing the Webtoon video.
I didnt know they reacted to it lol ill have to check it out
Wonderful web toon video live is awesome
The lyrics are what really appeals to me as well. Might be my favorite song. Certainly, this performance moves it up another notch.
