An interesting thing is that you can actually come in from the top of the volcano (the place that leads into the lava and the killzone) and if you turn up at the right time you end up at the roof of volcano which allows for a faster run because you don't need to wait for the doors to open, as shown by phindr's last jet powerplant run (even though it was the old jet it still might work).
