    The ED secret package is 100% the combo with the rank 7 odd-eyes + gravity controller + the other 2 which make you otk on an empty field if they pass after shifter.

      I dont think so. If u go up against a kash board and shifter, youl just scoop so ur opp doesnt knkw what to side. Very unlikely scenario. Ive never had someone just pass under shifter. Theyl at least set one.

    Love it. Thanks for sharing. Just recently picked up YGO and stumbled on Kash as my deck. Would love to see more videos like this.
    Also on theory crafting I love how you called out that Kash right now has a perceived ceiling with the way it’s currently being built so the only way to break that is the reimagine how the deck is played.
    Locals this week I had some wierd games and I thought to myself. I didn’t even play 2 games of Kash. I played hand traps and wait.
    Def gunna give this a try

    Is heatsoul package really the way to go ? I find that Draco futur utopic package smaller and comfier due to the fact that they are XYZ.
    And if you want to respect Nibiru, you just stay on the 4th summon. I really want to have your opinion on that package.
    Anyway, great video, i'm glad you're back on Kash !

      @@extemp2537 thanks for the comment ❤️ in my opinion getting rid of 4 cards to end on 1 interrupt is just not worth it. I would rather end on double flare metal or shang/flare metal. I do believe it’s a good package going second though but by the time you get to that point they would have stopped you. Realistically the heatsoul package is “mandatory” when you play a lot of hand traps. As for now I’m actually playing another package in the extra which I don’t want to reveal yet until my next ycs :)

      @@Abov3Avg You're not forced to UDP first turn, you can also, later in the duel, revive back blaster and use Dark armed effect then summon UDP. This way, you are using max value of your cards. What do you think about it with this idea in mind ?

    This reminds me a lot of my early lists, when I started playing the deck I was frustrated I was always bricking on all the non-engine standard lists played and could never get to Arise-Heart because of 1-2 hand traps so I cut down non-engine for more gas and ran 3x Rise, 2x Tear, 2x Scareclaw and it was definitely a quality of life improvment if you're looking to play through more things. Personally I prefer to stay under 4 summons to avoid Nib altogether unless Im going into Heatsoul/SP at which point they either Nib early or have Nib + Imperm. Ending on Shang + planet and other interactions is usually strong enough and isn't too tough to get to on the standard 10-11 names, but I also get wanting to insure it gets made too. Overlap is kinda neat, as Im working on my FS Kash list Im trying to think if I can swing that in here...

    love your content man, just have a couple of questions as a kash enthusiast
    4:16 you say that all the kash cards are pushes, but i fail to realise just how? opening any of the names that arent riseheart doesnt help you push through an imperm on unicorn/fenrir going first
    i get that they help you play through removal like princess which is good but i fail to realise how this helps going first
    scare and tearkash are horrible value cards if they banish from hand and i fail to see the way you dont just get obliterated by any semi competent deck if you just pash on shang with 0-1 handtraps in hand
    7:41 you said that tear kash becomes more crazy under shifter
    what? scare and tear kash conflict with shifter completely, are u really trying to tell me that banishing a name from hand is a good trade to banish the top 3 cards from their deck? and even if u want to normal summon it with birth, wouldnt you just always normal summon the fenrir instead
    8:36 if u play vs any combo deck, let alone snake eye, banishing the top 6 cards from their deck is the least of your concern
    you should be winning any game where you opened shifter vs combo no matter if you banished 0 or 40 cards from the top of their deck so i dont see how thats a tangible bonus under shifter ever really

      @@vukgovedarica5616 1) the idea is to have more 7s available to be put on the board. That’s how you play through hand traps. Kinda like how Despia just plays more engine rather than hand traps.
      2) obviously if you shifter I’m not saying you will go out of your way to go into tear kash and mill 3 from opp deck. I’m saying that it’s possible for it to come up since you play 3 tear kash now.
      3) I was saying how if the only engine cards you have are birth and tear kash. You can normal tear kash and hope to mill a 7. Obv if you have fenrir in hand you will normal summon fenrir 😭
      Love the questions! And I knew this would happen but the general idea is to just play KASH. Rather than ending on just a unicorn + ash blossom in hand after they imperm you, now you have a lot more engine to still push through. -Going second opening scareclaw kash will be broken in the new format. Also it’s an excellent way of baiting interaction. Once you go dark armed or blaze, your opponent NEEDS to respond. Or else you can pop/zeus

  • @seismicwhale5371
    @seismicwhale5371 18 днів тому

    Its kind of hard for me to get rid of the big bang. Yes its a brick but it always gets me to my utopic package. A negate plus steal is crazy esp if u open birth then u bring back fenrir and pass. If all that happens under shifter they usually scoop. I agree with not maining ash, its okay but imperm is a breaker and a HT. If i open imperm 2nd i usually hold it and it pays off big time. I am a big believer in the dark hole or talents. I main only 2 theosis because you never want to see multiples of that card. Upping all the names is def correct. The lizardose never came up for me. Id rsther play the rank 7 abyss dragon. Its a triple non target spin which is balls to the wall for many decks. I actually cut dark armed because i want to maximize my non target removal.

    • @Abov3Avg
      @Abov3Avg  20 днів тому +1

      @@iLLmindofBEZJ I was being sarcastic haha. Typical end board depends on if you draw heasoul combo or not. Which 2 card combo you drew or which 1 card combo you drew. Also depends on if you drew shifter. Plus think about the 20 ht your opponent is playing in the main. So “typical end board” comes up like 2x a tournament when you go first. Usually if you draw JUST engine and no shifter you end on heatsoul + sp + shang + ogre + fenrir + birth + prep with a banished unicorn and you get another summon off of shang on opp turn. You also draw 2 cards. And if you opened with planet you also get a pop. That seems like a very solid board to me using 2-3 cards. Now, they need to break your board and GAME you or else next turn you have insane follow up. Not sure how they will game you through you ripping cards from extra, and locking minimum 3 zones though 😉
