Thanks for your great review, it nudged me over the line into buying one! I am currently a Golf owner and looked at a GTI, and whilst its definitely impressive it doesn't look or feel anywhere near as special. They're parked on every street corner these days, a testament to how good a car they are! Mind you if I absolutely needed rear doors I'd go for one with a performance package, which in Australia is about the same price as a base model JCW. The Fiesta ST is a scream to drive, but again, doesn't have the wow factor. This thing was just a complete package. In Australia a lot of extras which are options in other countries are standard here, e.g. the adaptive suspension. Unlike the Audi S1, BMW 2 series and Mercedes A class it is exempt from the Luxury Car Tax. And it looks and feels unique and special!
+Marvin Maro Interesting question. I'd say the Cooper S isn't o the same level as the GTI and this JCW, but out of those two it is very tricky. Peugeot is cheaper, but the Mini is a bit faster. I'll have to think about it a bit more and get back to you.
Inside Lane Currently trying to decide between the gti and jcw. Mostly because of minis price tag here. Gti is around 23.000 euro, where jcw is 36.000 euro. Which would u prefer in general??? I would highly appreciate yr reply
@@latlakdoesn’t answer the question, at the time there was a optinal Jcw pro exhaust with a Bluetooth button. From what the dude said in the video I’d say it doesn’t have the Jcw exhaust, also because it sounds more tame
Great review!!! What about alcantara interior is it practical? In my opinion it uses very quickly... It's a shame that there is no leather option for sport JCW seats...
Brembos in the jcw are only good in size, stopping distances are pretty average. I don't understand why this breaks cannot mach distances of a gti and other similar cars...
It's due to the tyres being slightly thinner than most cars but that's an easy fix. If you change the wheels to a 225 or 215 width the comfort is slightly better and more traction so it brakes much better.
Nice review. Would be nice to have a video about the number of options you can have & some of the mad ones.
+nswgb69 Thank you. That could be something we look into if people would find it interesting.

how does the launch control work on the manual version?
GREAT review on a very special car !!
+MIke White Thanks!
Was this the JCW pro exhaust or just the standard? Already sounds amazing if it’s not the pro.
I'm also curious because of those pops...
It's a pre-OPF model.
