This video might have been some of the most fun I have ever had on a golf course. The Skoota I think could well change the game of golf if adopted by enough golf courses. It's not only one of the fastest golf cart's / buggies in the world, soon to be road legal but also genuinely soooo fun to drive!

Your channel is part of what’s got me into golf. I saw you said short game is the best thing to work on - any drills I can do at a range with that. I’m not a member at a course so don’t have a lot of other practice options. Looking into lessons too

I like playing fast and this scooter would help me do that. I am worried about slow days though, I may be standing over my ball to long waiting on others.

Great video Seb. Those scooter look amazing. I use a golf cart when playing 18 holes due to injuries and they are great, but the scoota just looks like it would be so much fun. Makes you smile from using the scoota and from playing better golf. They remind me alot of the golf boards that came out about 5 years ago but a lot more fun

Looks like great fun and would jump at the chance of having a go, but I agree with most on here that you're only as fast as the people in front unless everyone is using them or you're the first on the course!! Great video tho Seb, lovin the content!! 👍
This is not the reason I play golf, no social side to the game and everyone needs to be using them or you will be standing around for ever to play your shot still slow play. golf clubs could never afford to supply everyone to have them. these are just a gimmick.
Golf carts speed up play if it's single use and lower handicappers. I've walked with buggies and kept up with them no problem.

Some people are just slow no matter what ,between not being ready to take their shot ,a preshot routine that takes longer than concrete to set,looking for their balls that went in to the thick rough well over the standard time and trying to read every putt from all angles and still three putting the dam thing and of course never letting another group behind through. The best you can hope is not having them in front of you when your out or using these golf scooters to skip past them .I'd love one

I think even tour pros are pretty quick between shots. I think the slowness comes from not being ready when it’s your turn. They need to have a club in their hands and ready to go by the time their partners ball lands. Practice swing then hit. Or it’s Kooch holding everyone up by trying to con the referee lol!
I agree with that too, being ready to play is the easiest way to speed up golf

If you would have not been standing and talking you could have made it under 1 hour. Talk and walk to your ball and you can do it next time. Those are very cool golf scooters looks like. The kids would love those

That watch looks decent but £1600 versus a £350 Garmin.... dont think it's worth it at all tbh just because it's a Tag and the Garmin auto measures your shots.
Tag Heuer Connected watch is what your getting as well remember, golf is just one function
I agree that slow play needs to be improved but, not to the detriment of enjoying the game. If you rush to get to the ball then you are liable to rush your next shot.

I want to be the first junior to make a appearance at the next yt gold day I play of 7 and play for the Staffordshire u 18 county a team
Oh yes and the net weight of the Yamaha is spread over 2 axles ( 4 wheels ) therefore 150 Kgs per axle against this bike at 70 kgs approximately double the weight not 7 times the weight as he would have us believe
Too bad the rear shocks only suspend the seat. Clubs bashing away makes this thing a no go
I didn’t find the banging of clubs too bad to be honest and I am protective over my sticks!
@@SebOnGolf it appeared to be pretty rough on the clubs. I know why they've chosen to build it like this: way less geometry, suspension tuning range, lower part count but... it's junk and will literally bash itself to death in short order. The rider may not even notice because they're suspended by the seat shock. Rideabilty will be greatly diminished by all that unsprung weight and reliability will suffer. I have quite a bit of experience building prototypes and toys. I think I'll design my own and sell the plans to these folks. I have zero interest in manufacturing. Looks like an off the shelf assembly of Chinese components on theirs.
A 100% of the 8 courses I play in the area I live would not let you use this. I wish they would I'd buy one.

As fun as the video was and slow play annoying I feel doing a round as fast as u can won’t be popular and for the majority will effect the score. As a replacement for a buggy 10/10. Would fit on a tow bar mounting system rather than an awkward trailer.

Why do you need a cart to play a round in less than an hour? I mean by myself I can play a round in 2 hours without rushing, if I carried a light bag, jogged the whole way and took a bit less time per shot I reckon I could make it in under an hour. The records for speed golf are well under an hour anyway, and they aren't allowed to use carts.
The problem with the speed of golf isn't the transportation, it is the players. It takes about 60-90 mins to walk around a golf course... The rest of the round is just faffing about with sticks.
I agree with you in some ways, but this particular cart is just so much fun! Not sure I would enjoy it as much having to sprint and rush

Sorry to harp on here, but as an investment a Yamaha will give 50 years service no problem, This bike, probably just about make it past its warrantee date.

Weirdos watering down the great game of golf. We all should be walking unless we are really old and need a cart too save our body which is fading away. I’m a beginner at golf and I know these are facts. All the super superb strong minded and strong in physicality are those who walk. In this sport,.,it is a patient kind of game. These new age golfers are eeehhhhh lazy and show offs. Get like this beginner and walk 36 holes which is 7 miles off a few bananas and apples...

This is true. Obviously no drinking if your on one of these, and probably best for the summer when normal carts are allowed also, unless there is path around the entire course

Golf would be a lot faster if everyone wasn’t making a vlog all the time !!!! All so I get fed up with people using GPS and range finders as it takes longer don’t over think it just hit the ball
