- Major progress on the Cobra in this one! Knocked out a complete 304SS exhaust including an X pipe and a CHEAP ebay catback that was originally designed for the 99-04 GT/Mach 1 with the solid rear axle! Fixed up the floors, some other maintenance, and got this thing out on the road. She runs, sounds, and drives awesome! Finally making some serious headway on this thing! Cosmetics, dyno tuning and much more to come!
As someone who shoots and edits video for a living, I’m as impressed with your production skills as your mechanical skills
Much appreciated. Always trying to hone my skills with both!
You ain't kidding!
I don't even know a UA-camr who does it all like this man
For real. Your videos are another level.
As someone who welds for a living bro did decent to not be a welder lol.
@@alexdavis6566exocontralto puts out even crazier edits he will put days into making videos
48:54 “sock rolid” I chuckled
Bro it’s unbelievable the amount of work and skill that is put into this 03 cobra series..
I am speaking for everyone and I mean everyone, we really appreciate all that you are doing !
It blows my mind the amount of skill you have sir !
Dont remember how or when I found this channel, but Im so happy I did.
Happy you're here. Thanks for watching
As a Volvo guy... seeing the aftermarket offerings for Mustangs makes me want a Mustang. Also like your approach to building cars. Practical, functional.. with a touch of good taste.
I appreciate that!
“China” I lost it 😂 keep the good content coming bud! The Humor is a plus.
😆😆
Agreed…the humor is a nice add.👍🏻 “also, it’d be really cool to not burn this car to the ground.” lol
He says it just like em doesn’t he 🤣👌🏼
YESSSSSSS, these videos are like the buffet and im standing outside waiting for the doors to open!
Open for biz baby
Ahh I feel the same way! Just keep looking at my watch waiting lol @Treymoneyyy
@@RGeeeesWe out here like “buddy let us in a couple minutes early” 🤣🤣whole time the chef has to prepare all the food justtttt right👨🍳🤌🏽
@@ChrisSullivan69 that exhaust sounds nice man! Super satisfying to watch you put it together. Also have you tried using a Go Pro head mount? They’re like 20 bucks, or you could use a go pro hat clip🤷🏽♂️ maybe plug a mic into it for better sound as well. Just a suggestion👍🏽
Not sure what you do for a living, but you’re definitely skilled. I look forward to these videos as a cobra owner. Good stuff man!
The car content I look forward to the most on UA-cam lately 👏🏼🔥
This is the real car scene. Not the street talk over shit. Luckily I’m from NH too and there’s a ton of us who actually wrench and know how style a car properly here.
Brought that cobra back from the dead 🙌🏼🙏🏼
🧟♂️
Dude you are awesome, this cobra series is the first time I have watched you. But I have been hooked since the start. I’m definitely sticking around to see what else you decide to tackle. Keep up the awesome work man🤙🏼
Awesome! Thank you!
Underrated channel bro goes crazy
Appreciate that!
You are my kind of guy I like how you use your full brain to handle your assignments and beyond. Great job leave nothing to chance or have to be redone.
Only way to do it!
Anyone else. Just watch these long form vids all the way thru . It’s truly entertaining and inspires me to tackle. My own projects and the stuff I would normally not do myself
Eggcellent job on the eggshaust! These videos on the Mustang are killin it 🤘🏾
Chris you’re one of the few UA-camrs that I watch consistently and look forward to, I never miss a video, feels like you’re one of the boys and we’re right there with ya with all the nitty gritty stuff
Appreciate it man!
I've always liked the DNA catbacks. I've used them on 3 of our cars. They are pretty much copies of the Borla Touring/Steeda mufflers. Can't wait for the next video!
Chris as being a viewer for a while you ought to do a live stream so your fans can fans out more about you like ...where did you get all your car skills ...things of that nature ,,,She sounds perfect !!
Hmm, not a bad idea
Hey Chris, from the past, remember to put your coil springs in when you put your front suspension in I figured since you were here I’d let you know that might save you some time lol
When he had the coil looking under there then said "...@#&@!!!..."
yeah, I feel his pain.
Un-doing all of that,.. 🙆
We enjoy your videos sooo much my man!! Greetings from Mexico SEÑOR!!
🤝🤝
Exhaust looks and sounds great cant wait to see you sort out the paint on this car and make it look all purdy
You and me both!
Terminators are my favorite mustang. Seeing you do one justice is so great.
Attention to detail is off the charts! Keep it up!
Watched on the TV grabbed the phone to give my thumbs up 👍. Love the Eggshaust 😅
🥚 🪺
Every time I see this car it makes me miss my Sonic Blue 03 Cobra! Especially with the BBS RK Plasma wheels I had one there.....man...
This build is coming along nicely! Can’t wait to see the cosmetic transformation!
i love nothing more then waiting all week for an upload
Love it when a plan comes together!
Man it runs it sounds. I’m glad you have that car back on shape and running. Keep it up brother. 💪🏼💪🏼
💪💪
Great job Chris. This will be one sweet ride when you’re done. You’ve given this abused Cobra a brand new life.
Holy chit! Can't wait to watch later.. god damn work am I right?!
The midweek video was an awesome surprise, the cobra turned out really nice. Great job sir.
Glad you enjoyed it
Appreciate how much effort you put into your videos man! Content is unmatched.
🤙🤙
Lookin good Chris buddy. Can see the finish line. Can't wait to hear her really go through the gears when she's fully broken in.
Bro you’re a beast at what you do. One of the best youtubers out there hands down. The knowledge you have working on cars and editing your videos are flawless. I look forward to watching your videos everyday, also motivates me to get in the garage and work on my own cars. Keep up the good work.
That's what it's all about! Glad you enjoy them
Omg your attention to detail is amazing. Found your channel last fall and have been a fan since.
Appreciate it! Thanks for watching
This series of the Cobra has been awesome! Can’t wait to see what you’re doing to the exterior and a clean up video!
that exhaust is solid nice job that motor purrs
From the D Detroit ...awsome work Chris. Wife and i still loving it!!!
Was rooting for your lions last weekend!
Nice work! Nothing wrong with that choice of exhaust as it works. Hell the top brands are even outsourcing overseas anymore. I’m betting you’ll see a nice exhaust note when you go WOT. This vid should be labeled “car rescue” for all you have repaired. Great to see the Cobra gaining value!
Right on!
Inspiration is the word, thanks Chris. No excuses.
Love that car ,and learning about your history with Terminator cobras.
😎 so cool
Perfect timing. I need to order exhaust for my ls swap new edge. Ordering both those same kits you did. I'm stoked.
Right on!
HELL OF A NICE X - PIPE EXHAUST FOR CHEAP !! SOUNDS GREAT ,NOT TOO LOUD BUT HAS THAT COBRA / FORD SOUND !!! GAVE ME SOME IDEAS FOR MY 68 VETTE NEW EXHAUST !! KEEP THEM VIDEOS COMING !! JESSE VIA LAS VEGAS
Thanks Chris, you got me motivated to finish up my project on my 03 Cobra!
Right on!
@ChrisSullivan69 currently installing a lethal performance return style fuel system.
I got to say that exhaust looks great 👍🏻 I'd venture to say anyone looking at the finished product would think it was a expensive kit installed. The Stang is looking like a new car from where it started and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
Great content as always dude. Can’t wait to see what else 2024 has in store for you and your channel. Keep up the great work man!
Thank you sir!
Coming together! Exhaust turned out great!
Great work, this Cobra has come so far. Looking forward to Pete tuning it. Need to get mine to him this spring
Good stuff! Looking forward to the cosmetics!
Man I really enjoy your videos! You’re so organized and clean when you do these builds. I’ve learned a lot and I keep searching UA-cam for the next video you’re going to put out. Keep up the good work!
Subscribe and you won't have to search! Lol
Bet it feels so awesome to have this car going. So sick to see you getting another sick project off the ground!!
Great job on the exhaust, I can't wait to hear it on the dyno.
Always glad to see a new video of this project. The cobra has come a long way from the initial video. Look forward to seeing the finished product.
Great outcome!
Love this channel and series. Looks like so does everyone else because u have 2.2K likes with 2.8 views in 10 hrs! Keep the vids coming
The Cobra sounds great! Thanks for taking care of her, many memories with the SN95. Looking forward to the SCR HPFP conversion on your Powerstroke.
hands down my favorite channel!
Thanks!
A Chris Sullivan Video was the best part to this wendesday afternoon. Keep up the great work man. Can't wait to see what projects you have next.. Maybe a WS6 trans am? Im over here brainstorming ideas for the inside of our 69 camaro.
I like the ws6 idea👍🏼
Or a 6.0 gto
Perfect timing! Extended lunch break!
This project has something for everyone, if you are not subscribed to this channel.....what are you waiting for? First class all the way. Thanks again Chris!!
I'm a fan of the almost quiet exhaust too. Sometimes it's nice to be able to drive for an hour and not bleed from your ears.
Absolutely
Inspirational build Chris!! You make it look easy!
Love the progress vids, can’t wait until the next one. Great work!
More to come!
Love seeing the process and major improvements on this Cobra! Can’t wait for more! Great job man!
You have done a good job on the exhaust because many five litre mustangs sound like popcorn machines. A big thumbs up.
Thanks 👍
Amazing work/craftsmanship 👍🏻👊🏻
Awesome video, she sounds so good!
Can't wait for the next one.
Props to you because you do every single thing, like buy the parts (the deals), put on the parts, talk about what of this and that you did in the video, edit the whole video, etc.
Ya boiii Chris keeps rollin' out fresh content. Love it!
Love the channel bro. Your videos keep you interested from start to finish. Great explanation and walkthrough. Its a testament to your fantastic editing.
Thanks bro, much appreciated. Thanks for watching
Man does she sound sweet, freaking awesome fab exhaust work, top notch, great choice on those mufflers,
has a nice deep tone with great interior sound that sounds perfect, awesome job and skills on everything.
Looking, running and sounding awesome bud.
Nice job man one of my fav channels on UA-cam keep it up !
It’s crazy I stumbled across this. I was pondering the eBay catback because I’m building a custom 3in x pipe to mate up to my coyote swap headers. after seeing this I know that what I had planned is gonna work. I really like how quiet it is on start up, I hate when the coyote has that obnoxiously loud cold start.
I hope this channel gets big enough that you can give this Termi away and then I win it 😂 Love it.
One of the best channels on UA-cam. Your craftsmanship and attention to detail is top notch. I have a question on your corbeau seats in your camaro, do they make you sit higher in the car? I've read a lot of people say it does. Keep up the great content
They sit lower than the OEM seats did
That's what I was hoping to hear, thank you.
Gotta give ya props, nice fab work on that custom exhaust. Loox super nice 👍
Great Job! Glad to finally see that thing on the road! Long journey from "just needing a clutch" ha. Now dont sell this one! I love the blue over the yellow one that you had.
Sounds great! Nice rumble without pissing the little old lady driving next to you off.
Exhaust looks great Christopher 👍🏼
You make it look easy. Great Channel!
Excellent job as always. It's all starting to come together. I have no doubt you are going to make this a reality nice car.
Love your videos, always looking forward to the next one.
Very nice exhaust job. I added an aftermarket high flow race cats and magnaflow catback setup on my 2002 lightning. It went together pretty slick. The side exit setup always needs adjustment.
Exhaust looks fantastic I just wish it had those long exhaust tips like all the mustangs usually do
Yeah me too, for the price though i can add whatever tips I want
Let's go, another great episode. One man band👊 and as always you delivered👍love it, can't wait for next chapter on this build 👌many thanks
bro killed me at 4:20 when he blew into the x pipe like a trumpet then said "oh yea it's gonna sound good" XD
well done!!!! we are waiting for new projects from the Mustang series))))!!!
I had to rewind to see if I heard the sock Rolid correctly. Nuckin futs dude I’m loving it 🫶🏻
Great work Chris.
Your dialed in my guy! Love this series.
Years ago, I bought the Ford Racing M55 exhaust for my 03 Cobra. Cheapest exhaust I could buy back then. Made the car sound like a Harley. I couldn’t stand it. Traded it for a 3” Mac and fell in love. Now that M55 exhaust goes for stupid money.
Damn M55 exhaust is impossible to find these days
Good job Chris! Great intro to your video. You built a sweet exhaust.
Make sure to use solar flux or back purge argon on the inside of the stainless pipes to prevent sugaring of the weld. Great content!
Great Job Chris she looks and sounds great 👍 very Healthy.
🤙🤙
Mustang looks amazing man, very impressed and happy to see you happy. Keep up the good work!
Man that car sounds soo good !
Very nice work, I don’t have the cross bars on my mach with a fully built rearend , you will be good.great content.
Man another great and informative video. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
My pleasure!!
Not gonna lie. Listening to that unchained melody while watching you cut that exhaust to perfection gave me a half chub
I guess cheap for today's prices are not funny, But you have to do what you have to do. Super cool build. Thanks for the content.
Great content Chris, and wonderful work from home!
