My dad is from corn island I went a few times I live in la now, glad u had a good time champ
Thank you for watching! Corn Island is such a special place, and it feels so different from other islands in the Caribbean
@@AlongWeGo check out long bay next time and go to spekitos a lot of my family lives on that side of the island 🌴
Van Dyke Hunter no way! We actually went to Spekitos but didn’t film it. We loved the natural aquarium they have in the back!
Van Dyke Hunter we stayed at a place called Tropical Dreams near Restaurant Relax. The owner was so kind and friendly
Cool videos, I've been to Managua, Granada, masaya and san Juan del sur . I was able to visit Montelimar Beach resort.. thank you for sharing you visit there.
Again thank you guys enjoy Nicaragua places
Lo más lindo de nicaragua es su seguridad número 1 en seguridad y en muchas cosas más de centroamerica
So cool that you two went there, thanks for sharing your experience!
Antonio Del Rey, we’re so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching! Don’t forget to subscribe 😄
@@AlongWeGo will do. Keep enjoying life and travels together as much as possible in these difficult days and in better days ahead!
This place is beautiful🥰 that meat is really good
Pretty nice video. I'm from Nicaragua but I never been in this place. Looks amazing to me.
Thanks for Sharing😊😇🙏🙏
Awesome video
A friend of mine just went today
Love. Soy de Masaya nic y un gusto conoserte
Great video guys. I'm glad you visited Nicaragua. And you are welcome to visit us anytime.
Thanks for showing all the beauties of those islands! A Really fascinating place. Also love that short underwater clip at 12:26 - Meg is as elegant as a mermaid! Would be awesome to see more underwater footage, you're doing a really good job with that! Have fun!
Dariusz Magnus thank you!! We’re so glad you like the video! Stay tuned for Little Corn Islands - we have some great underwater footage swimming with sharks and stingrays!
@@AlongWeGo Excellent, looking forward to that! Wish you a wonderful day and exciting adventures!
Great video
I think I saw you leaving there yesterday
Mmm “casamiento” is what we call that mixture of beans and rice. It’s so good.
I live in San Juan now. I saw all 18 minutes of your video. So what is there to actually DO there? I scuba dive, but it looks like after 2 dives I’d get bored. Looks like the markets are more expensive. Help me out here… for instance… are there at least rock and roll places to hang out with an ice tea?
Big Corn island is much more chill and feels more local than Little Corn. On Little Corn there are plenty of little bars and places to eat. There’s also a lot more tourists there. I would recommend spending more time on Little Corn.
@@AlongWeGo You stated wrong BIG corn is more touristy, cars etc. bars. LITTLE corn is foot traffic only laid back relaxing time
NICARAGUAN un ENCANTO
Great videos. I was born in Nicaragua in 79, but my family left In 83 and I never been there. I'd like to go but I'm not sure if it is a safe place for my wife who doesn't speaks Spanish. (She is British American) to go with her.
Thanks for watching! Gabe speaks Spanish but I don’t and I felt completely safe there! Of course there are areas that may not be safe but all the places we visited and filmed felt friendly to tourists. I’d particularly recommend Little Corn Island, Leon, and Granada! I hope you and your wife can make it out there some day!
Hermoso vídeo
Did you feed that stray dog in your video? He seems sad, hungry and scared. That breaks my heart.
I was there February/ March 2020. We had gorgeous weather. We stayed at Arenas Beach hotel. It sits right on a beautiful sandy beach with calm waters. Shout out to Marlin our waitress who brought me many Tonias and to my main man Puma who was basically our personal chauffeur.
Great video 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you watching! Glad you enjoyed it 😊 If you haven’t, don’t forget to subscribe for more of our travel videos! We are currently in Taiwan
How long is the flight from Managua to corn island ?
Around an hour to an hour and a half. The plane actually stops in a city on the east coast called Bluefields and then heads out to corn island
My dream!
Advise ..next time you can ride to managua in express bus ..lot faster and more comfortable ..for about 3 dollars
The Spaniards are dominating the Caribbean coast. The Chinese and Ortega $$$ . Next time go to the boats and they’ll even give away catch.enjoy!
Hi, what bus did you take from Guatemala to Managua?
Hello! We took the Platinum Bus from Managua to San Salvador, then transferred to Guatemala City.
Is miss donnette Jamaica ??? Or have Or lived in Jamaica 🇯🇲 ?
No she is from the the Corn Islands, which are part of Nicaragua. But the accent is so similar to Jamaica, it’s uncanny!
Miss dinnet is my aty s
No lie
Good vid. However more shots of locale, the people, cultural sites instead of you two talking. I hope people going there doesn't change the uniqueness of the place.
And suggestion. Get a trim and a shave to look more presentful when you do vlogs. Your lady was on point squared away.
Is it full of travel vloggers making videos and talking into selfie sticks?
I've been to the corn islands and don't post about them. If you guys keep making videos about these wonderful places a lot of jerks are going to come in and ruin them with development.
Please realize that Nicaragua has seen a serious slump in tourism due to the political crisis and now covid. As for over development, I somehow doubt that a channel with less then 2K subscribers is going to be the final straw. Thanks for your comment.
Great video. Would prefer to see a little more scenery and a little less you. Just me. Keep up the good work.
please, try to show more and speak less...tank you anyway..
That country is dangerous as hell
We felt very safe the entire time. For us, it’s just a matter of traveling smartly and staying aware of your surroundings.
@@Seekingtruth-mx3ur if we only lived and traveled to places in our comfort zones, we would miss out on so much of the world. We take precautions everywhere we go and have not had any serious security problems ever.
Actually it isn't unsafe. There are some pick pockets, cell phone thieves but mainly in bigger towns, cities. Ive been in Nicaragua for 8 weeks now and have no problems, I'm a single white woman, 65 yrs old traveling alone. Feb 2022
Linda princesa hermosa Nicaragua excelente trabajo bien gracias por el video 👍👍
