The origins of Camaleonti can be traced back to Santa Tecla in Milan, when Livio Macchia, Riki Maiocchi and Paolo de Ceglie founded Camaleonti. They were the first to bring the international beat rock genre to Italy and had great success in the late 1960s. The turning point came thanks to Miki Del Prete, Celentano's lyricist and also record manager who put them under contract, they then moved to the Italian CBS distributed by CGD at that time in '67. The Camaleonti remain one of the most successful and historic bands of the 1960s and 1970s Italian scene.
The three tracks offered in sequence are respectively the band's tenth, eleventh and thirteenth singles. An interesting curiosity: the first line-up of Camaleonti included a very young Teo Teocoli, who performed as lead vocalist of the band during their first releases, and Mario Lavezzi, guitarist and well-known Italian author and producer.
