For this 2022 new beginning, we decided our theme would revolve around Netflix's most popular show of 2021... “Squid Game”! Money is on the line! In years past, we simply adopted a theme and then took turns jumping into the freezing water and swimming across the pool as fast as we could. This year we switched things up and competed in 4 different rounds for a grand prize of money pot of $1200 (equivalent of $100 per participant).
Each round o this Polar Plunge challenge was based loosely on games seen in Netflix's Squid Game... from the “Red Light, Green Light” to Tug of War, we tried to replicate the games as best we could with what we had available while still incorporating the FREEZING water in every round. We ordered all of the best costumes online plenty in advance, but due to supply chain issues only a few of them showed up in time. So we had to scramble and piece together our costuming as best we could with what we had lying around the house.

Glad that y’all include you’re staff members to have some fun. Dakotas round with the tug of war was so quick 45 seconds of my life. Woman power to Kamri, I felt bad for Asa though. 8:03 , that was very sweet of goals of both Brooklyn and Dakota and at 8:12 of the same with Bailey and Asa. Glad that y’all had a good time, that only thing matters. 10:46 , was a sweet moment between you and Brooklyn.
Video idea: You and Brooklyn should do a day in a life in two different places like you in Texas and she’s in Utah. That would be a fun idea. Whenever cases goes down.. you and Brooklyn should collab with Merrell Twins again, that would be a fun videos. Since you guys are favorite youtubers.

This year, (like a couple days ago) my parents went out of town together which meant I got to spend the night at a friend’s house. We did a polar plunge (my first one ever) and it was FREEZING! I hope you all had fun and Happy New Year!

I think the rope was too long which is why it wasn’t really working haha. Next time you can put a tape mark around the rope and that’s where they have to hold and can’t let go of that spot.

Hahaha right now where I am in Michigan it is 17 degrees Fahrenheit. 40 degrees is warm to us! All you need is a light jacket! I wouldn’t want to go in our water though, it’s frozen!

Most of these games were a thing before squid game, it’s kinda annoying when people say they came from it.
correct. Squid Game took popular childhood games in Korea and put it in the game and had the players compete whilst playing them. But a lot of people (especially non-Koreans) were not aware they existed, so they refer to them as from the game.
@@its_emj8574 they were also very popular in America before Squid Game, I remember playing red light green light at parks with random kids. Most everyone knew about these games before, which is why I don’t understand why people keep saying they’re from Squid Game.
