A artist in action! Awsome job running that thing. No joy sticks only an old school lever puller. I used to stand on the counter weights when I was a kid and never got the sound of that non turbo sound out of my ears. Thanks for posting a vid of a classic in action!
The truck is in the wrong position for loading you are having to turn around to dump the bucket and turn back again to load it,the truck should be alongside at a slight angle so only the slightest turn will bring the loader over it
The 180 slewing ,from a recording perspective I think is far better, you can here the engine really working. The operator is in tune with his machine. My late father Bob used to operate Cat 951's in the 1960/70's on demolition and excavations and he was also in tune.He discovers a way to pull the right slewing lever to make the machine gradually turn to the left .Does anyone have a clue how he could do this ?..Jon steele
I don't envy the person that has to shovel out the undercarriage when it's cold out like that. Also, just curious why there isn't any teeth on the bucket?

To be fair at least she is turing fine and isnt struggling much, but you have a point. I hate turning our 955 in a circle like that
dug lots of basements with those all we had then life was good
Yes! This baby had the best of speed and power. I miss running these in the yard.

Terriffic video! Please do some more of that great running machine!! Smooth operator to.
It sure must have been hard work to operate these with direct drive! I suppose the clutch wore out fast
@theguyfromavonlake That's because it's a direct-drive machine, it has a straight clutch, no torque converter.
I have a 933F that looks just like that! (only smaller of course)
Good machine for it's time, drove one for many years ,but why all the turning?
45 degree loading, saves on everything
