I believe that the "unfortunate truth" that the overlord encountered was that he was eventually halted by the truth he was part of the game, hence the hint of fourth wall knowledge in his introduction speech before wave 50, which could explain why he would want to end all life as he it wouldn't matter anyways. As for the overlord not being corrupted, he may have come across a text of knowledge that could allow him to resist the failsafe of the truth.
Sorry for necropost but I also heard a theory that his Crown is the reason he can resist the failsafe, which is why he always wears it. I also heard another theory that the Truth is actually a cosmic power and the Overlord is the failsafe, the one who eyeifies those who learn the Truth, so that they can’t exploit its power and reach his level.

I dunno, it’s just a theory. Maybe it had something to do with the truth? Maybe they attempted to use cloning technology but failed miserably? Who knows for sure.

Plus, when I looked through it, almost all of the details were not important to the main focus of the storyline, so I decided to not worry about the new lore information. I am sad to say this but I have retired from Roblox for a reason, The Cube Defense Halloween 2021 Event, I did all the torture of trying to get all of the wisps and fight the final level and fail then look to see if anyone else has done this, only to see the "rewards" were useless skins, I am not having that and that's why I left Cube Defense first, Goodbye Jengle.

Electricizer utilises a railgun, this does not require plasma. It required a magentic force to push it forwards at speeds faster than Mach 5. The only real plasma unit that I can remember is Elite

I am sad to say this but I have retired from Roblox for a reason, The Cube Defense Halloween 2021 Event, I did all the torture of trying to get all of the wisps and fight the final level and fail then look to see if anyone else has done this, only to see the "rewards" were useless skins, I am not having that and that's why I left Cube Defense first, Goodbye Jengle.

I believe that there's a good chance I will come back to make another lore video at some point. I don't think it will be just on the Constructs though, and it will probably be like an updated overview vid, so if the game keeps updating, and I'm still finding success in videos like this, expect me to return to this some time later this year.
