Side-project I'd been working on over the last few weeks to transform the soundtrack to the SNES video game 'Chrono Trigger' into an auditory adventure of nostalgia.
I dont usually comment things on UA-cam but this time I really had to praise you for not ONLY capturing the essence of the game and what made its music so fantastic but also for turning the already nostalgic vibe into a wider and even more nostalgic experience ! Thank you a lot for summoning some of my beautiful memories that I cherish so damn much.
It’s surprising how well Chrono Trigger’s OST goes with so many different interpretations of it. There’s true-to-original orchestras, there’s peaceful and uplifting acoustic, there’s 10 minute jazz performances, and yet this interpretation speaks to so many, for good reason.
RF Video. Who remembers that shit? Colors absolutely would go black and white from time to time, and you had to mess around with the connection in the back (or top!) of the tv to get it to display color appropriately. Going to RCA was mindblowing to me at the time. Then to S-Video. Oh my god. Mega Man looked so damn crisp to me back then.
one of my favorite things in the world is at 3:17 I love this mix, play it on the weekends making breakfast or cleaning the house. That distorted sitar is so dreamy. I remember the Saturday mornings that this games bgm was my lifes bgm. Nostalgia kinda hurts, but in that good way, yah' know?

Wow. Not only did you induce nostalgia, but you made it personal The corridors of time bit hit home - first time I played this masterpiece was on a 486 that could barely run this on dos ZSNES. I was running at 12-15 fps and played with 11000hz sound quality til the late hours with studio headphones Memories of a child lost to time.
Thanks a lot for making this. It’s very well done, and it brings a lot of freshness to one of my favorite video game soundtracks while still capturing the same feeling.
This helped me to focus at night to advance on my (tedious) homework, but most importantly, this brought back good memories of one of my favorite games and the sadness to know I will never experience Chrono Trigger for the first time again. It's a strange but pleasant feeling of comfort. Thank you very much.
Played the game as a kid. Watching this to one of my favorite genre of music made me cry, in a mix of happiness and sadness. Happy that you've made something so beautiful to one of my childhood gems, yet sad at the ending as i feel like once again I'm bidding farewell to that once forgotten innocent adolescent. this is awesome. this feels like a concept album, with a red line throughout the entire thing. It feels so much more like a complete experience from start to finish than most other vaporwave mixes.
Times were good when all I had to worry about was playing this game. Thank you so much for putting so much effort into recreating the nostalgia we all had playing this fantastic game. 🤟🏻

Some of the original music in Chrono Trigger was inspired by Pink Floyd. Yasunori Mitsuda (the creator) was a fan of pink Floyd. My naive 12 year old self thought Pink Floyd copied Chrono Trigger.. SMH

Often times I run into these low effort lame ass lofi/vaporwave mixes which consists of half baked songs and uninspired sampling but thanks to whatever the algorithm is smoking on because I've found a diamond in the rough with this. This is what I wish more mixes of this kind were like. Crazy to think that this is completely original with songs you produced in top of it all like that's honestly incredibly impressive my dude. Please keep on making tunes and strive for a better tomorrow because this will be my playlist for many years to come. ✨💖
Chrono trigger forever lingers in my mind.Even in the present,the story deep within just give me chills down my spine.Some many emotions you'll experience through the game.Truly a wonderful game that should be played now and then.

I keep coming back to this video, to the point where I listen to it almost any time I do work on my computer. It just calms me, in a sense. This is a seriously great selection of songs.
