Man if we had UA-cam back when I was learning guitar. Had to go my local library to access the internet and visit a great website with all the R.E.M. tabs on it that I printed out to take home. R.E.M. taught me how to play guitar. Since then I have realised most of the tabs weren't accurate and I can figure out the songs myself, a skill that was beyond me back then.

Such a fantastic lesson! I've been playing this song for years - my favorite from "Fables." Never quite got the introduction part down and mostly just concentrated on the droning D with riff. Now I can play the complete song! Thanks so much

Great stuff. Just one comment. At the end 13:30 it sounds like he hits the F# (second string 7th fret), not the D on the third string.

I really like your videos. See what you think about the intro, instead of the Am shape at the 3rd fret, try a Fmaj7 shape at the 3rd fret. I need to work on the Esus slide you show in the verse.
