Yo Simon I agree, if you've been given a drawing and it looks that off, its definitely something you can at least give constructive criticism on. People need to know the difference between attacking an artist and saying hey, there are areas in which this could be better to match his likeness. People tend to do their own thing and lose likeness along the way, where likeness is the whole unique feature that makes you, you.
Yeah but he wasn't giving constructive criticism. He literally just said his face looks ugly.
Literally all he would've had to say to be nice while still being honest is something like 'the drawing is great, I like the detail, my face could use some work.' There, got his point across without being an asshole.
And I'm saying this as a fan; he didn't need to be that harsh, at all.

Im appealing to Simon’s argument. “It’s better than anything I’ll ever do I’ll leave it at that. But if you’ve been given a drawing of yourself that looks that off, yeah.” Simon isn’t trying to attack the person, he’s just siding with jj and yes, that could be seen as harsh. I don’t think either of them are trying to ATTACK the person by saying not to continue this passion. Hyper realism is one of the hardest things to achieve, where any error really shines through and likeness is easily lost.
@@blasianking4827 It's also good to get honest reviews and opinions. If KSI doesn't like it he absolutely should not lie. He wasn't an asshole about it and he really wasn't even being that harsh. In fact, KSI giving his honest opinion is better than any constructive criticism he could've possibly given. KSI isn't esteemed for his drawing skills.

@@blasianking4827 I mean he called something that almost looks like himself ugly so it's not that "harsh". It was basically a self diss. To be fair he was definitely taken aback, when you read a title like "I spent 10+ hours on this..." you expect mind blowing shit so he reacted instinctively to the shock. The guy needed a small reality check, if he strives to be a great artist he needs to work on his ability to recreate faces more accurately.
The part that was abruptly cut out in the beginning of the video (before he even looks at his Reddit), was JJ half jokingly saying that looking at his Reddit makes him depressed, and he hides his pain by laughing , but he was almost kind of half joking, and I think it was cut out so his fans wouldn’t worry about him

My brother was always jealous of my beard so he started microneedling and using minoxidil. Now he has a full beard. Took him 6 months to see noticeable results. Took 2 years for it to be a big full beard. After 2 years of doing the routine he stopped to see if it was permanent and it just stayed.

Everyone's facial hair grows differently. One of my old school friends had a full beard a few inches long at like 20. Some people have patches and some people can't grow any facial hair. Over time it will grow. The mustache as the part under your lip takes the longest and that's the last thing that will fully grow out.
I’ve maybe shaved like 6 times in the past 5 yrs (25 now) so don’t stress it man just let it be and accept you might look like a clown for a while, it’s all a part of the growth process. And in the future just trim the parts that start looking a bit messy🤙🏼

I've been using Dermaroller (2x a week) + 5% Minoxadil (2x a day) for 6 weeks now and I already see great improvements. It says it's best to use it for 12 weeks but i'll continue untill i run out of minoxadil which will probably be more like 18 weeks.

Nothing will make hair grow more like that, unless something is inhibiting is like an illness or (on the head) DHT. The last one can be countered in most people to at least some extent with medication, to a lesser extent topical applications, but it doesn't really effect the beard area so that isn't relevant.
JJ needs to eat a lot of eggs if he wants to grow a beard, well that's my recommendation

JJ beard is what i had when i was 14. He is near 30.
I can see why the video has been edited ( casual self racism and joking about being depressed doesn’t seem to go down well in 2022 ) but it was hilarious. Such a shame that things like that can’t be kept in videos anymore, let’s just hope it turns around and 2010-2016 humour can make a comeback.

That's how you make that joke. Assuming that pre-human apes screeched similarly to JJ's laugh. I mean, there was that stupid and racist (or just factually incorrect) "when the monkeys find the banana tree," meme showing JJ and Deji screeching in excitement while playing something.
