When I was in my 20s, I worked in a sports and racing book. I think there were 10 of us that all worked around the clock . We all had to share our tips. Which is a good thing because if a 🐋 tips the other person on your shift , you will get paid also.
I remember 1 time a 🐋 dropped like 10 grand and still left us 4 grand.

13:32 - If you played scared and stand on 12, 14 AND 16 (I would be scared to hit that but you have to its what the book says) dealer gets 21, 19, AND 17 meaning the ONLY way you could've won that hand was to HIT all the way to 21 LOL!
I have a question that table states the payout is 3 to 2, why does he get the same amount he bets when he wins, wouldnt he get half of what he bets in case of a win. Lets say he bets 100, shouldnt he get 150 and not 200. Sry if that question is dumb, but i am new in Blackjack

Just buy a bunch of greens instead of 8 at a time. Not a big deal but if you’re gonna bet the side and bet for dealer every hand might as well get 50 greens.

My story goes like this. Playing at MGM in Maryland a few years back I’m dealt a 20. Dealer then hits a 8 card 21!!! Needless to say i went home knowing it wasn’t my day

I don’t know why he’s always betting for the dealer. I usually tip a dealer after a blackjack or an unlikely 21 (like getting a 5 while on 16) but that is just a way to lose more money

It was paid correctly. A perfect match for all 3 would have been 20 to 1 or $1K.. I got matching unsuited for the 3 and it was 10 to 1 for $500.
@@DudeLuck23 you’re 1000% wrong. You should have been paid $700 not $750. Neither you nor the dealer, knows the payout apparently. Lol. The payout is 14 to 1 for suited and unsuited match together. Not 3 to 1 and 10 to 1 like you wrote. It’s 14-1 X $50= $700. Pretty simple
4-1 for the unsuited. 10-1 for the suited. 14-1

You gotta learn the pull out game, when ur about to nu* after it feels so good =“winning 2-3 hands in a row” drop ur bet after, don’t raise = pull out. Loose 2-4 then raise.
