Okay to answer all questions: (oh no long-ass comment jesus christ)
1. The killfeed displays kill + assist, so in the first clip JL got the kill but Wonderful got an assist as earlier in the round he'd damaged that player. The kill was an AK47 headshot though which is always a one-shot (technically at really really impossibly long ranges its not but it always is in normal gameplay 99.999%) so the assist didn't matter.
2. Movement is a big deal for sure.
3. "every gun onetaps like that?" The pistol 3k you saw was vs no helmets. In the first round everyone has $800 to spend and while kevlar costs 650, kevlar + helmet costs 1000 (and you can't buy helmet separately) so nobody can have a helmet on round 1 (the pistol round, because you can only afford pistols). With no helmet most guns will one-shot at most ranges. With a helmet different guns have different armour piercing levels, so an AK47 will still one-tap your head, but a little USP, the pistol CTs start with will do like 50 damage at mid-long ranges even with a headshot. The game is insanely fast time to kill if you're hitting headshots though. AK is 1 to head but 4 shots to body generally. M4 is 2 shot headshot (headshot is around 90 dmg) and 4-5 to body. Desert Eagle is 1 to head and 3 to body usually. With crappier pistols it's often 1-2 to head and like 5+ to body. SMGs are much lower damage per shot but they do have a faster fire rate to keep time to kill similar.
4. The goats is a big question. Currently the best players in the world are Donk (Russia), Zywoo (France), Monesy (Russia) and Niko (Bosnia). I'd argue in that order but you can swap Zywoo and Monesy if you want though that's super valid. Donk just concluded his rookie year actually and is the rank 1 player in the world comfortably. It's fucking insane. This little like 5'4 17 year old Siberian kid popped up killing everyone online, but surely he can't do it on lan. He goes to a lan and owns everyone, but he can't do it against the best teams in the world. He does it to the best teams in the world, but SURELY he can't do it at a big tournament with a crowd. He does it there too, but SURELY he feels pressure in the playoffs. He plays better in the playoffs and everyone just kind of accepts that this kid's the best player in CS history. Zywoo did a similar thing when he had his rookie year and has kept his spot as the best sniper in the game, but Donk doing even better than him on rifles (the less impactful weapon normally) while playing hyper-aggressive (less kills normally) is just freakish. Monesy was insanely good for half the year but there was some personal stuff where his GF cheated on him, they broke up and he's played worse since them. Worse for Monesy is still like top 10 in the world but it's a drop-off. Niko's been in the top 5 of CS for like... Ever. It's wild. Dude's so strong at the game after so long but still hasn't won a major, losing the the most recent major (that just finished) as he left his team with Monesy making people feel he might have missed his last chance. (Donk's team won that major and Donk is now the youngest major winner ever, has the highest rookie year rating ever, the highest major rating ever, the highest tier 1 tournament rating ever and the most aces in a major ever along with like 10 other records in his first year., he's the best player of any game ever IMO.)
The biggest name in CS in terms of the actual GOAT would be S1mple (Ukraine). S1mple was the top 1 CS player in CSGO for a long time and while he didn't like CS2 and hasn't been on a team for a while he's obviously still gonna be super good when he does start playing again. S1mple's an absolute legend, but he's had a rough history. He was on a shitty team called Flipside and he was like 10x better than anyone on the team but he was SO fucking toxic and awful to be around they kicked him and performed better with him gone. He was the type of guy who'd die, watch you playing and just call you slurs whenever you did anything wrong. But he was so good and smart he was always right too, so his ego was fueled. He's worked on his attitude a lot and eventually has become a player you can be around, but he's still fairly selfish and can act up sometimes. Before him there was Coldzera (Brazil) for a little while, Device (Denmark) who was the best player on a team that DOMINATED for multiple years, then Guardian (Slovakia), Olofmeister (Sweden), KennyS (France) and GeT_RiGhT (Sweden) are all legends and top 1/2 players of the early eras of CSGO.
Basically CS is currently a fairly slavic game (Russia, Ukraine, etc, that whole region) in terms of top talent. It used to be a lot more European, especially scandinavian. South America has some impact and had a bit of an era but they dropped off a bit and North America's not been at the top often. They had a little era themselves (peak team liquid) but for a long time they were considered a joke. NA CS was an insult. Asia has started to grow (most recent major was in China so that might help too) with the Mongolz being the best asian team ever (the guy 910 you saw is on that team) who are from Mongolia... Hence Mongolz. Australia's had a little presence in terms of players but no sick teams. Africa and India haven't done anything and the UK's put out like 5 decent players and no decent team ever.
5. Monesy's clip where he kills 3 you're right the gun is a part- He's on the M4 which can't one-shot headshot (it does around 90) which makes quick kills way more annoying and difficult to get and stack up. Any multi-frag in CS is generally a fairly big deal because the teamplay is soooo fucking cohesive at the top level usually. The general way these things work is someone pushes the site, Monesy blasts 'em then the second player instantly steps out and trade-frags Monesy for free as he's killing the first guy. Definitely a more routine clip than the rest though for sure.
6. Silencer is the M4A1-S instead of the M4A4. It's an alternate option for the CT side. It has 20 bullets instead of 30 and fires differently (more subdued spray pattern) with the upside of being quieter and not leaving tracers so you can spray through smokes without giving away where you are on the other side as easily. But the 20 bullets to a mag makes it harder to spray big rushes down. Basically A4 is good for holding a rush A1 is better for winning 1v1 fights. Also in that clip you mentioned movement and Ropz has super sick movement, one of the best in the pro scene.
7. For the smoke defuse, being in a smoke you have like no point of reference at all. You can't even see if you're bumping into something. So you'd have to know exactly how long to hold W to have passed the containers then know how far to flick your mouse to be aimed 90 degrees then spray at the right spot, it's just super awkward. Even pros will get lost in smokes semi-often.
8. For the Spinx clutch it's super important to note if he's not hitting headshots at those longer ranges he's not putting enough damage to kill out. The accuracy needed is extremely high, you HAVE to be hitting headshots in CS.
9. All nades bounce. HE nades obviously blow up after a couple of seconds, Mollies explode when they touch the floor, or after about 3 seconds of air time they just blow up in the air (which does nothing, it's a failed molly), then smokes go off when they stop moving and flashes pop after a couple of seconds. There are crazy lineups (especially for smokes) to throw nades that'll pop in really specific spots that strong players learn.
10. Crowdcheating is a thing 100%. It can be a big deal depending on the crowd too. There's not really a solution to it sadly, so it's just something you have to deal with. In a studio setting you can do a full defuse and people might think it's fake and not challenge you but with a crowd they're just gonna scream and give away the full defuse, so you're just not able to make that play. A lot of rounds have been stolen by that shit. Worse crowds will do it with people in smokes, or an awper looking at a wall and someone's behind it too. The major in Brazil was particularly fucking awful because the crowd would just cheat for the Brazilian teams as hard as possible (even you can hear people screaming what site is clear and shit sometimes lol, but the noise cancelling headphones should deal with single screams like that) then they didn't even attend when the Brazilian teams got knocked out. Super pathetic showing from them.
Part 1
Part 2.
11. The ace (5 kills) by Saffee it's important to note that's an anti-eco round. That means your team has weapons (he has a Galil which is like a cheaper, shittier AK) and the enemy team have their starter pistols. Garbage weapons that do low damage and can barely 2-shot headshot you. They often don't have armour either which means if they get hit by one bullet their aim gets punched into the air making it impossible to aim, and meaning they'll die in one shot headshot to almost everything and like around 3 bodyshots from even shit like a Galil. So he's just spraying down the weak there, not nearly as impressive as getting an actual gun vs gun round performance. anti-eco aces aren't super rare and occasionally someone will kill all 5 with a single spray of their rifle. It's just part of the CS economy- You gotta save up sometimes to get the high investment rounds with all the good gear you need to have a good chance. You have full ecos which you buy almost nothing at all, half-buys where you spend a little money on some Deagles and maybe like a Scout ($1700 sniper rifle that doesn't one-shot the body, does one-shot the head. Very strong weapon but so hard to use even pros can't do it well) to get damage and a chance, then you have force buys which is where you're too poor to fully buy but you go for what you can. Often high-power pistols with grenades and kevlar + helmets, sometimes SMGs, maybe some people get an AK or M4 but no grenades. Then full buys are getting everything you want, and the last somewhat common one is hero buys, where you have a godlike player on your team and you give them a single beastly weapon, they grab kevlar + helmet and you hope they do something amazing. Donk in the recent major finals actually got an ace with a hero AK where his whole team had shitty pistols but him, they'd all jump out first, get killed and Donk would step out second and kill the dude who killed his teammate. Kept doing that until he was in a 1v2 where he clutched up.
12. With the jumpshot- it depends on the gun. At long range it's always pretty stupid because jumping dramatically fucks your gun's accuracy, but it's very different per gun. If you jump with an AWP for example you can fucking shoot like the floor right in front of you, it's AWFUL. If you jump with an AK it's similar. With SMGs and pistols it's a lot more accurate, but still only at all likely at a close range. There are I'd say 3 weapons that are relevant for jump-shotting. One is the MP9, which is the gun you mentioned looking weird. It's a very cheap CT-only SMG that has surprisingly good jump accuracy and super good running accuracy. This lets you play hyper mobile and still put out damage, it's an exceptionally strong gun. There's the MAG-7 (swag-7 as it's known) which is a shotgun that for some reason is fairly accurate jumping, which is funny. Shotguns are very rarely played but that gun does see a tiny bit of play by some memey players on specific angles. If you're jumping to check a close angle you can just one-shot people while jumping up close with it, and shotguns give $900 per kill instead of the usualy $300 which means it pays for itself in 2 kills, so it's good for the economy. Then there's the Scout, the weaker, cheaper sniper rifle. That shit is perfectly accurate for like 0.05 of a second at the exact peak of your jump, then becomes dogshit accuracy again so if you're ridiculously GOATed you can learn to jumpshot reliably with it and do fucking insane shit. There are very few pros who can do it well though, you'd have to look to full-time Scout only players to see the peak Scout strats. That particular clip's jumpshot was with a Mac-10 which has alright jump accuracy but at a super long range and through a smoke which is just stupid lol.
13. Bro's such a 910 glazer damn. He's the best asian player ever I'd say, at least so far. Very strong player for sure, and young. Probably gonna keep getting better.
14. Yeah Twistz strafe-jumped into the site behind the pillar and somehow nobody hit that shit, then his team peeked based off that and killed the guys shooting at him. Casters were confused af because nobody pulls their knife out and jumps directly into the angle the enemy team is holding normally, because they're normal people.
15. In the Monesy 4k the last guy threw a flash over the top of the building which actually hit Monesy, so his screen was mostly white, but the flash was too high to full-blind him.
16. There is friendly fire, but you do reduced damage to teammates. I think you do 1/3 with guns and 80% with nades or some shit like that.
17. No hitmarkers, JL just expected someone to be there cuz he's played 99999 hours of CS.
18. Mzinho's fast ace with the MAC10 is nice but easier than you think because that's an anti-eco round. He's fighting unarmoured starter pistols, they're pretty defenceless. The Mac10 is specifically bought to beat that round too as it gives $600 kill reward, double normal and it costs $1050, so 2 kills pays for itself. It's super fast fire rate and vs no armour does huge damage, and you can run, crouch and even jump at close ranges while being accurate. That's why the casters were just like "ooh ace" instead of getting hype. He was expected to get AT LEAST 2 there, should get 3, can get 4-5 without it being too crazy.
19. Team Astralis way back created a new era of CS with coordinated pushes. They used to burn the whole fucking site. They'd set up outside a site then sometimes throw literally 5 molotovs at the same time that covers the whole fucking site, then a couple of people stay back and throw smokes that block the rotation angles and flashes that blind the now-burning players who are all pushed out of their positions while a couple of players push in and just kill these guys who are half dead in the middle of nowhere on the site, no cover. They also popularised nade stacks, where they buy 4-5 HE grenades and all throw them together as a team at one spot. If they call your team correctly your whole team can just fucking die to HEs all at once. Even little things like JL's 3k, he runs through the smoke and his teammate throws a flash over and behind his head that's aimed to pop exactly as it goes past the corner, that way none of the enemies can turn away in time. JL is in front of it so it doesn't affect him and they all get blinded for his 3k.
20. It wasn't a major, it was the finals of the ESL Pro League, which is basically like the biggest league. You do well in the league, you get invited to the finals. I think it's like $750,000 so decently large.
Jesus this was long.
I'd advise you watch Donk, Monesy and S1mple highlights. Donk's the best player, Monesy's like the new S1mple and S1mple's the CSGO goat.
These are long comments but they are the ones he needs to read most. Explains almost everything he needs to know and answers the questions he has. Kudos to you for typing all that out!
first vid was cool with a friend cause theyd answer the easy questions, "is there friendly fire" and such
BRO HOLY THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TAKING TIME OUT YOUR DAY TO COMMENT ALL THAT, IM PINNING THAT. QUITE LITERALLY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING AND IM SURE THIS WILL EVEN HELP OTHERS LOL. I CAN TELL YOUVE BEEN INVOLVED IN THE SCENE FOR A WHILE. IF YOU END UP HAVIN THE TIME PLEASE TUNE INTO MY NEXT STREAM AND DROP A CHAT REFERENCING THIS. I WILL ADD YOU TO MY FRIENDS LIST. HOLY MAN I APPRECIATE IT YOUR SUPPORT AND TIME DEFINITELY DOESNT GO UNNOTICED THANK YOU!!!❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏 WORDS CANT DESCRIBE HOW THANKFUL I AM THANK YOU
@@tiratesi definitely will be doing this again u make a great point💯 thanks for the support i appreciate you man
Best line ever "They don't aim down sights in this game?!"
LMFAOOOO I WAS FLABBERGASTED 😭😭😭
@@nbkpeezylive yeah, cs players never aim down sights and aim at head-height because they want to get headshots and make their fights easier. There are players who start out doing it because they see the pros doing the same thing, while others play the game normally and later realise aiming for the head is better, so they change their crosshair placement.
Bro i love your reactions, its nice to see a new person into the cs reacting to highlights, love it
I WILL BE STREAMING ME PLAYING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ABOUT TWO HOURS FROM POSTING THIS VIDEO. SO AROUND 5PM PST, IF YALL TRYNA WATCH ME GET FARMED COME CHILL, I HOPE TO SEE YALL THERE 😭😭😭🙏
Bro's about to realise how impossible recoil control and shooting mechanics actually are in this game, then appreciate these insane plays even more.
@@mooncalf_4534lol for real shooting in this game unlike any other
Subbed
if you want to watch awp/sniper highlights watch monesy highlights
this is very interesting to me for no reason keep uploading bro LMAO
Best players right now: m0NESY, Zywoo, donk
Best of all time: s1mple, NiKo, device, f0rest, GeT_RiGhT, neo, potti, Heaton
RPK, KennyS, Olofmeister, and GuardiaN are definitely up there too. If you wanna go way back, you can add Markelov.
coldzera
Where's Snax? LOL Neo was better in 1.6, that's for sure. But the whole CS:GO, Snax was way better.
@BrTy_ Neo is arguably the greatest 1.6 player of all time. Snax never achieved that sort of status in GO. He is certainly a contender for the hall of fame, but his achievements in go are incomparable to neo in 1.6.
He was RPK before RPK.
@jhwk71 certainly another player up there.
Hey man loving these two vids. Fun to see a COD player falling in love with Counter strike and never actually played it. A couple of things going on for context: In Counter strike there is a money system and at the start of each round you buy guns and armour and grenades with your money. If you survive when the round ends you keep your guns, if you die you lose all your stuff. In the beginning of the game no one has any money so everyone has to use pistols.. and the more expensive guns can take a few rounds to save up for. Most guns can 1 shot headshot if the opponent doesnt have any head armour. But only a few guns can 1 shot headshot someone with armour on. Sound is also a massive part of the game. When you run you make noise, reloading makes noise, grenades make noise, picking up someone elses gun makes noise. So a lot of times you don't need to see someone to know where they are with headphones on. Maps in this game are smaller and there is a small map pool so mastering a map becomes a large part of the game. Knowing where to stand and also where all the weak spots are for every spot on the map becomes critical and also why sometimes these guys make it look so easy its just because they know the 2 or 3 spots their crosshair should be at any given moment. I think I missed your stream but looking forward to the youtube clip. In my Opinion Counter strike has a skill ceiling than COD. Some guns you can move and shoot, some guns you cant really move and shoot. Every gun has the same spray pattern every time, so as you get better you will take the time to learn the pattern and kill people in 4 bullets.
if you are the one to bridge the gap between cod and cs you are the chosen one
KENGGGG MY MOD 🙏🙏🙏
the clutch at 5:35 was crazy for a few reasons, well for one its not really crazy but its very nice important play. because for one its round 4, this is generally the first full buy round of the game and sets alot of pace and tempo. 2) its a 2v4 and generally with how good everyones aim is if you get more than 1 kill you did more than your job. and 3) even tho its a 2v4 hes basically in a 1v3 cuz if he dies his teammate will 100% save. so basically he single handedly won the round. so its more about the consequences for the map than the kills themselves (at a higher level) at face value it is also very very good movement and positioning and crosshair placement mixed with game knowledge to know where the the trade will come from next while also dodging the 2nd trade. etc. bit confusing but point is its a good clip :P
GOATs are s1mple, Zwyoo, Niko, Device, Get_Right, f0rest
Rising Stars are M0nesy, Donk, the whole Mongolz roster, jL, and more
I do recommend looking into best highlights of all time, there are some goodies in there
"the whole mongolz roster" is real as fuck lmao. it sucks they have the regional disadvantage they're so good
Stewie was goated at a time
Rising Stars. You forgot to mention Malbs. That guy is clean as hell.
@@zbem8909to even mention Stewie in that list of players is laughable
dont forget about kennyS or Scream
would love to see you react to the best CSGO caster reactions. The best part about the CS pro scene is the quality of the casting, the casters add so much to the matches with their banter and personalities
interesting, thank u! 😁
One thing I recommend looking at if you want to see what the pros see is to look at some of these highlights / games through POV videos. It emulates what the player is seeing in the actual game and it gives you a better understanding about how crazy some of these highlights are I recommend it. Type in any of the good players like for example donk + POV into youtube and you will see. loving these reactions keep it up
Great reaction, just subscribed and looking forward to your CS2 journey! And just like you said in the first video - it's when you see the POV of the guys getting killed then you really understand how frikking quick these guys shoot you in the head.
The first clutch in the video jL was alone vs 3, he got the kill when he flicked back (you can see the headshot symbol). wonderful got the assist because he had damaged the enemy player earlier.
Best in CS2 and good highlights to watch: donk, mONESY, Zywoo, Niko (deagle, ak), jL with some amazing rounds, 910 is good too, he plays for the Mongolz who is a relatively "new" and young team who is taking the pro scene by storm with their great aim mechanics
the mONESY clip at 5:30 is not crazy but you have to understand CS weapons and just the level a bit better = He is playing against some of the best players in the game and he is alone on the site. If he dies they lose the round. Recoil is crazy in this game so much harder to control than other games and just 1 shot in the head and you're dead. He just out aimed all 4.
The first of the 2 majors in 2025 will be in Austin Texas, highly recommend you watching it.
Glad to see you're enjoying the game, I actualy don't mind the comparisons that you do with cod. Coming from cs, i know nothing of cod so its quite fun and interesting to see your input about it.
And I know you really like the awp(sniper) kills, you should watch some csgo montages from these players:
- kennyS (yearly csgo)
- s1mple (mid/end of csgo)
- m0nesy (end of csgo).
Unfortunatly you don't get as much crazy flicks with cs2, flicks kinda got nerfed and there is alot more of peekers advantage, so holding angles is way harder and bc of that sometimes awpers just prefer to play with rifles.
would love to see more reactions from you. Always great to see new people to the game. also interesting to see what new people THINK is hard to do, and what actually is. so fun.
The 5:03 monesy clip would be considered highlight for the way he isolated the fights making them all into 1v1s and not letting them rush onto him with the movement.
Goats of all time, probably. Simple, NiKo, Device, Get_right, forest, probably Zywoo at this point too.
Team wise probably prime Astralis team could all be considered goats honestly too.
For the hit mark question, anwser is no, no hit marks. As for how JL got the kill, you can see the bullets opening the smoke a little so he saw the 3rd player 24:11. Smoke in CS is interactive so it can be blown away by nades for a small while, and can be seen through when shot through.
Edit, and yes, there is team damage.
“probably zywoo” might be the craziest shit i’ve read all year, insane take. zywoo’s stats are almost the same as s1mple
this arc of a cod pro being mesmerized by pro cs is amazing content fasho
Holy shit just saw the 1v4 clutch clip on Twitch, YOU GOT THIS MY DUDE!
Gamesense and shit will come with time :D
thanks for checking in with me here 🙏🙏😁 i appreciate u man thank u
The community welcomes you bro. Hope you like the game and you just earned another sub. Happy holidays
U should watch voice comms of teams, navi, g2, faze (karrigan) do a lot of voice comm videos so u can kinda see what they talk about in game, but obv they dont show like their strats. But I enjoy seeing u explore cs coming from cod. P.S. I think u should watch m0nesy, donk, or s1mple they prob have they most exciting highlights (2 r snipers, 1 is a rifler)
910- is the awper for the “Mongolz” and they have recently taken the world by storm because historically the level of CS from the Asian region hasn’t stood up to Europe, so you could say he’s the best awper from Asia
You just missed the major but the final was really hype if you wanna rewatch it (type in 2024 shanghai cs2 major final). When it comes to players monesy is really fun to watch, zywoo is crazy, donk is just a terminator. Also theres a 2 part documentary from redbull on the history of csgo, real good stuff.
U have to watch Monesy highlights! There is some crazy sniping in those
goats of cs: s1mple and zyw0o future goat: Donk
i love that your profile pic is such a common steam pic for cs players lmao
15:30
Yes, it gives away everything - a guy flanking, defusing/not defusing. At some tournaments players had to sit in soundproof booths because of that.
i hate that it is like that :(
love these videos really fun to see as a cs fan
Really enjoying these!
thank u! 🙏
donk is already in the goat conversation even though hes only 17. he just played his first major and tied the record for highest hltv rating (basically the metric of how good you did) in a major that was set by niko in 2017. considering it was his first major and his age it's absolutely insane. s1mple, kennyS, dev1ce, zywoo, and niko are all on the list too.
The goat list is currently meaningless it’s just a fun thing to talk about, no serious person is calling donk the goat of anything, the game hasn’t even been out for a year. You also can’t put donk on the same list as the goats of csgo. He’s the best cs2 player this year that’s it. Zywoo was number 1 in the world his first year of pro cs and it took him 2 more years as number 1 to even be in the conversation. Also took device 4 majors. It’s awesome to see what donk is doing but the glaze is crazy 😂
@@B00nater i agree but you have to admit donk is an absolute anomaly. its not just that hes amazing but hes amazing in a unique way that's changed the meta. fuck they had to update the game because of how he plays and that hasnt happened since kennyS. the anime profile pics and cringey voice are just the icing on the cake lmao.
the clip a bit before 5min was sick just because he held site against 3 people, even if his shots werent amazing. also the silenced m4 (m4a1s) is a different gun from the unsilenced (m4a4), it's a bit more accurate and does a bit more damage but shoots a bit slower and has 5 less bullets per mag. the spray pattern is also tighter and it's a couple hundred bucks cheaper, and a big benefit is it doesnt have tracers so you can shoot through a smoke without them being able to see where youre shooting from. most people use one or the other although some people prefer a4 for maps theyre playing closer to the enemy and a1s for maps they play longer range.
I love watching your reactions. It's nice to to see a COD player reacting. Might drop in for the stream
CS is an easy game to learn but hard to master. Coming from a COD background you know the differences even though the two games look similar. For starters, the game discourages run-and-gun gameplay with heavy movement penalties. The best way to take gunfights is actually to stop moving and then take the shot. At 7:26, Elige was not able to hit Yekindar even though he was 5/6 ft away. Elige was panicking because Yeki was already defusing and he knew he had to hit a lucky headshot to stop him but you can see that even at that distance, the spray is all over the place. Now compare that to Malbs at 14:05, he is able to engage targets at his own pace. Malbs swings out, counter strafes the other direction to stop, fights, then moves back to cover. It sounds simple enough and it looks like these pros aren't even stopping but they are. Goes to show how good they are at their movement and mechanics. That's why these are highlights. Other stuff can be highlights too, like with 16:20, jumping mac10 headshot from that range IS lucky but can be considered a highlight with all those movement penalties (like a jumping inaccuracy).
A little bit extra, but there are a few weapons that can deal oneshots against fully armored opponents. At 13:15 Syrson knew that Blitz had the AWP, so he circle jumps back into cover to try and get hit in the legs, which is the only part of the hurtbox that will not kill. He was hoping that if he gets tagged in the leg, he would then swing at Blitz while he chambers the next round. It didn't work but at least you'd know why Syrson jumped around the corner like that now
You seem to love those awp clips I would just recommend looking up a pro awp montage/compilation. The quickscopes, noscopes, flicks do go hard
Just wanted to note some things because a ton of people I can tell already would love to see you play.
1. Don’t get discouraged when you first try, the beginner CS experience is massively different from any game any FPS. It will take a lot of time for mechanics and and sense to change from your COD perspective.
1.5: Matchmaking is very poor in CS especially when you have a new account. Casual is not that fun of a mode but it’s necessary to level up and play competitive. Also you will probably face a lot of other people who just made accounts but have played before (smurfs)
2. You said you wanted to watch pro matches, which is awesome and definitely the best place to learn. Unfortunately right now is the player break so Pro teams will not play anything until the beginning of next year.
Hope to see you out there soon brother and good luck
streamed my first two days playing and this game is hella fun man i cant lie 🙏🙏 definitely will be playing a lot more im getting hooked 😭😭😭
monesy, zywoo and donk are the goats
14:11 Keep in Mind this Ak skin w/ stickers is 160k usd .. super crazy flex lmao! 😎 cs FTW.
INSANE BAGS BEIN THROWN ON THIS GAME 😭😭
So glad CS has another fan.
You haven't seen Team G2's videos on their channel yet of literally Niko (best rifler in history) with M0nesy (best sniper in history) play on the same team.
The reason why most things are “crazy” is because there’s a lot of recoil on most guns, with all different spray patterns. You have that as well as 3 different people coming to get you once your position is found, along with your movement, cover and a lot of other aspects. Once you start playing you will figure it out. These guys make it look easy. It’s for sure a learning curve. A lot goes into it.
Make sure you get prime status when you play, if not you will be swarmed even worse by cheaters.
gotta love cs reactions from non cs players, as much as they dont understand it its also amazing
u'd also want to see a Xantares Peek video. Fun to see other pro players reacting to getting destroyed in pugs.
the monesy play at 5:40 is impressive because he is solo trying to hold down the bombsite against 4 on a full execute (flashes, molotovs etc).
where in most scenarios you might get one or two before u die to a trade off, which should favor the attacking side.
but to get like 3+ is not that common at high levels, he did it thanks to great 1v1 isolation and seeking cover.
gotta watch shanghai major highlights. it just ended this past weekend. Major final had 14,000 people in the arena
goat of cs is s1mple, but most of his clips are from csgo, not cs2. I think there was a video of his highlights for an hour, that's how good he was at the game.
In CS, you're crazy inaccurate while you're walking, running, on ladders, falling, and jumping. The only way to be completely accurate is to stop moving by counter-strafing or crouching.
I was glad to see there was a 2nd one of these
3rd coming tmrw 😎😎
15:10 good catch, yes the crowd is cheating. There have been big controversies about this in the past, and it still happens sometimes
3:30 That was a quick scope. If you do a no-scope you get a different icon in the kill feed.
Check out old JW and KennyS clips if you want to see agressive AWP plays...
You just have to check out the best CSGO plays ever, there are way to many to name. Snax, KennyS, Get_Right, F0rest, PaschaBiceps,Neo, Guardian, Stewie2K, Hiko, Simple, the list just keeps going and going.
the reason the pistol clip was onetaps for all the kills was it was the pistol round, you start with only 800 dollars and armor and a helmet costs 1000 so nobody has a helmet. it was also due to the range, he was close enough that they killed them. even without a helmet some pistols wont do 100 damage from longer range.
the GOATS are. S1mple, get_right, forest, device, zywoo
If you want more AWP (sniper) highlights I'd recommend watching some CS:GO highlights (the previous game), as the AWP was used even more heavily in that game
This team Navi went to 6 consecutive event finals. Won a major. Won the EWC.
Definitely the team of the year 2024.
You watch scream, KennyS, s1mple, monesy plays
Bro you gotta react to CS goat s1mple's best plays! He was sniper so I know your gonna be mindblown from his flicks.
Watch Prime kennyS highlights ,because of him CS Nerfed AWP
yeah crowd do give away everything, there's one clip I don't remember who but he was behind the enemy, he only have a pistol so he's trying to wait for the right timing. all of them walked past him, he was about to follow them but the crowd noise gave it away the last guy turned around and killed him then you can see his player cam complaining to the crowd lol
Csgo goats: Simple, Zywoo
Cs2 goats: JL, Monesy and especially Donk
S1mple/M0nesy/Zywoo are the later csgo goats of Awping/snipers
Donk/Niko the 2 goats of rifling
Ropz/monesy the goats of movement
they all have there own highlights/montages you could watch
check out - how monesy really plays cs2 & how donk really plays cs2
5:25 to answer your question "why was it crazy" its only because its 4v2 on TL's buy round and monesy is solo on this 3 man hit. pros are known for trading (as im sure you would know from FPS general knockledge) so to stop that hit you need to find your 1v1's
Cool Reaction bro!
Would you mind pasting the link to the video you reacting on to the video description next time?
yes absolutely! ima do that right now, ill update my previous video also to link the creator, thanks for mentioning that i appreciate it 🙏🙏
you just missed the major in shanghai :c the final was pretty exciting.
You’d love some CSGO clips of KennyS. Goated AWPer back in the day. AWP was nerfed because he was too good
If you like watching plays with sniper ”awp” then you should definently watch best moments of KennyS since he is seen as the GOAT of sniping in cs, love the vids btw
19:15
At this point CT's expected enemies to be on this site. The guy who's jumping out into site does that because he's 1. low HP 2. he wanted his teammates to swing as soon as he jumps out. And it actually happened - he jumped out, they peeked and killed both T's.
I'm commenting a lot, cause you ask and I don't see much people answering your questions in the comments.
man i do my best to read and respond to all comments thank you so much for taking the time to comment and teach me 🙏🙏 your support doesnt go unnoticed thank you!! i recognize you from stream
To answer ur question about crowds, yeah, on LAN the crowd does sometimes give away certain clutches, which is kinda annoying, but it goes both ways so even if it’s annoying, it’s fair and pros know that, if the roles were reversed the crowd would still make noise so even tho it sucks sometimes, both players know what’s going on when the crowd makes noise, not much u can do. CS crowds are so hype in every other aspect so I don’t mind having that problem.
cs doesnt have ads for the most part, only snipers and a few rifles can aim down sights. csgo goat would be s1mple, but for cs2 probably donk or m0nesy
btw you should react to "clockwork 4" its an old csgo edit, it's insane
@@vytrux i almost mentioned frag movies too but since so many of them are overly edited and take away from the actual game footage i didnt. i miss the source days with all the sick cotw edits on the esea forums lol.
when it said jl+wonderful it means jl got the kill and wonderful the assist. you get an assist if you do 25+ damage.
if you play dis game you unterstand how hard it is
the skillgap with movement is much bigger than it looks. in old school cs, 1.6 and source, bhopping was an important skill that meant if you couldnt do it youd get beaten to spots consistently. with csgo and then cs2 they took bhopping out as a mechanic for the most part, youll still see people do it a bit for a few hops but you cant use it to gain speed like in the past. for a crazy example of bhopping when it was possible look up "phoon too much for zblock." its one of the most famous cs videos ever.
in current cs it's more positioning vs actual movement mechanics, but fluid movement, especially peeking without making noise smoothly and being able to make strafe jumps is important. people who are really comfortable and dynamic with movement are also harder to hit, which is a big part of why donk is so good. look up donk highlights and watch him do the "donk slide" etc.
The ceiling for movement got lowered and unbelievable amount with the release of CS2. I've got videos of stuff that is only possible in GO due to 4.5k hours of KZ and knowledge of how to exploit the source engine. 90% of advanced movement tech has been completely erased in CS2.
Just for context, GMC is Global Map Coverage. We are the ones who record VNL KZ world records. Remember those desubticked binds and configs?
That was us. Specifically Gliptal and Zer0.k made all of them except for 1.
I was the one that figured out how to pixelsurf when the game first released fully, and the one that figured out how to climb walls and walk on walls after the surf patch. LLNuke was the one that figured out that the water outside A main on anubis was able to be used to bypass the max velocity limit in the game.
All that shit got taken out. Jumpbugs suck, alias binds are gone, desubtick to remove random jump height and fix bhopping is gone, pixelsurfs gone, pixelwalks gone, Danvari gone, crouchbug damage negation is inconsistent.
All the movement stuff that made csgo special is completely gone and probably never coming back
definitely gonna look into the b hopping from old cs! i wanna see what thats like thanks for the support man i appreciate you
@nbkpeezylive you don't need to make a video out of it, but take a look at smiezsneznaczki and LLnuke. They put any pro player to shame.
Smie is so fucking good that during a VNL KZ tournament that LLNUKE hosted, he got first place. . . Doing every map sideways.
@@psych0CS2 you're talking about a completely different thing though, i was referring to movement as it relates to competitive play. surfing and kz etc is a completely different world that doesnt relate much to competitive. not that its not cool, just very different.
@facE055 depends. VNL KZ translates very well to competitive play. Regular KZ is enhanced strafing and no stamina loss. VNL is entirely default settings or "vanilla settings."
A LOT of vanilla KZ can improve your movement mechanics.
Example: you know how in cs2 we had that update that would kick people for using snap tap? Even with the patch to make it less sensitive, a few of the people that are much, much better at VNL than me still get kicked for it. These are people on the GMC team. The guys that literally wrote the code for all csgo and CS2 KZ game modes.
Also, Ropz is far ahead of most on movement. He had/had a WR KZ run on 1.6.
If you want to see crazy Sniper clip, watch best of from "KennyS"
Forest , N0thing, Freakaziod, shourd, honestly anyone from that cloud 9 era
you can always check the hltv top 20 for each year to see who were the best year to year. the peak of a player can sometimes be very short because of the metas or something genetic idk its strange that the peak is so short. Also multi-kills are impressive regardless of the situation because just shooting a head consistently is truly a skill you need to practice, and gamesense takes thousands of hours to figure out.
The reason multikills are impressive is because you don’t regenerate health, and you are almost garenteed to take damage every fight you take even if you win the fight. So if you manage to get a 3k or more, you are effectively doing way more damage compared to how much health you have.
Also, the weapons have crazy spray patterns you have to know. The pros make it look way easier than it actually is, the weapons literally don’t shoot straight half the time
If you like the sniper rifle you will LOVE kennys highlights!
hey man, love the reactions but TL:DR for GOATS:
ScreaM - Best player with crazy one shot kills
Shroud - All around best FPS player
S1mple - Bold legend with crazy gamesence and aim
KennyS - one of best AWP/SNIPERS in older CS
Zywoo - Probably the best all around player rightnow
and thats for the start.. many more players but these are the best of the best that have flashy plays to react to :}
Also when you watch pro matches you should keep an eye on the time in the top center of screen aswell as the positioning of both T and CT.
For example the monesy clip at 5:36, he is alone on A site while his teammate is playing retake position towards B, T side has man advantage and should therefor be able to push together and trade their teammates but with good positioning and aim monesy kills all 3 including the bomb carrier, the last T is lurking behind trying to catch the rotation from the B player.
But with bomb dropped and 30 seconds left the last T player has little time left to make a round winning decision therefor he should save the ak for the next round
So basically those 3 kills by monesy won his team the round
yeah i have a lot to learn 😭😭 thanks for the insight though man i appreciate u watching 🙏🙏
@@nbkpeezylive I was watching you play your first matches and your aim looks very natural and has alot of potential, even the shoulder peaking looks good.
And even tho you sometimes over extend or get caught out in the open you always understand your mistake and fix it fast.
I was playing in T2-T3 semi-pro scene back in 2017-2020 and had around 10-11k hours in csgo at that time, watching you learn cs2 makes me wanna play again sooo bad :') Keep it up!
The silencer lowers recoil and hides your location on radar. There are only two silenced guns in the game, but they have downsides like lower damage kinda.
Watch this man transition from cod to cs
BRO I DEFINITELY AM 😭😭😭 I PLAYED ON STREAM TODAY FOR THE FIRST TIME I AM HOOKEDDDSD
first name in kill feed is killer and second name there is the assist. so second name means that play done some damage to him.
bro I swear you need to watch KennyS highlights, if u want to see the real Snipes. He is a GOD
I suggest you take a look at a proper CS fragmovie. My suggestion would be either Echoes of 2017 or 2019. They are next level montages/edits that enhance what you just experienced.
document ur cs journey. good luck
definitely in the works 🙏🙏
Trying to address some of your questions
3:55 Every gun one-taps in the head?
No. AK-47, Deagle and scout(For what I remember, there are 2 more, but most of the time you'll not buy it) can do it. This round in particular, it's a pistol round, where everyone starts with 800$ and there's not enough money to buy helmet. You can still fail the one-tap since damage decreases by distance(this rule is applied to every gun, independently of which body part you shoot).
4:33 Who are the goats in this game?
Since you like snipers: FalleN "The Professor", kennyS, s1mple, dev1ce. (They still play at pro level, though they're veterans. I'll not talk about the other ones, you'll discover it by yourself 100%, sniper or not).
5:33 Is it the gun that's like pretty bad?
Not sure of which gun are you referring to, if T-side(ak-47) or the CT POV player(m4a4).
M4A4 has a firerate superior to ak-47, plus he gave HS and chest bullet in the two first guys, which is enough to kill. The third guy finished with an HS. If they had no helmet, would be instant dead if it's HS.
5:52 What the silencer are doing on this(? not sure of the question?)?
Different weapon. You either choose playing with m4a4 or m4a1-s, and you can't change your decision for the entirety of one game. Silencer is cheaper, has less firerate and more damage at close range, plus it's silenced. If enemy didn't see youand there's multiple positions where you could be, it will be hard to give your position away(rare thing happening).
15:14 Crowd give position away in cs2?
It can happen, yes. It's hard if crowd is louder all the time, though. There's one specific tournament where players play inside of an acrylic box or so, called "Dreamhack". Still it's possible for crowd to give it away, in my opinion.
I'm really tired while writing this comment. Hope people will answer the rest of questions.
Have a nice day!
you should play CS2 bro, it'd be fun to see your reaction to weapons recoil compared to COD. CS is hard to master but it's the most satisfying FPS when you get good at it
Watch CadiaN's clutch to win Pro League
just a reminder that ALL of these clips were only from 1 single tournament 💀
watch monesy clips 🙏
also when playing in studio and stage/arena crowd is 100% a factor the players to play around. They tried soundproof booths but it ruined the expierience for viewers and the players hearing crowd get hype after kills.
if you like sniping, I'd suggest going and watching some 2014/2015 kennyS highlights. valve nerfed the AWP because of how aggressive of a player he was. bro was basically trickshotting and using his AWP like a shotgun w his noscopes.
The reason you see so much of 910 is because the team he plays for (Mongolz) just had the best year of any Asian team in CS:GO/CS2. Unfortunately they didn't make it far in the playoffs at the last major, but their major run was still the best by FAR of any team from that region of the world in a LONG time. Hope you enjoy your journey into CS and don't get discouraged because it can be a really hard and overwhelming game at first. Been playing since I was a kid, feel free to reach out for any questions or help :)
Bro, let's go, I fucking love you!
I LOVE YOU TOO !!!! ❤️❤️
Hey man i discovered your vids randomly and ive been enjoying watching you get into cs. if you want to react to more highlights the biggest tournaments are the majors, iem katovice and iem cologne. Pro League which you watched in this vid is a good tournament but its a much smaller crowd and generally less hype than the tournaments i mentioned. if you want to watch videos of particular players superstitum makes good frag movies for players but they are shorter videos, the yearly cs rewind videos are also good highlight vids. Also looking forward to watching you play this game glhf!
the china major just happened you should watch the highlights for that
hi you are the best i subscribed will there be a stream today? 😅
@5.21 its the angles
One of the goats are snax, 1- one of the best players in 2014, 2- he was the first person to use grenades in a good way, 3- he won major ( the biggest tournament in cs go)
snax is not goated at all, he was a legend for sure tho
You need to watch mongolz highlights they are just crazy super aggressive clutchy always fun to watch
gluck pistol is 2 headshots whit no headarmor (t pistol). usp pistol is 1 headshot whit no headarmor (ct pistol)
You should react to best s1mple highlights (he is sniper and at the same time best CS player in the history) in CS:GO for sure!!!
man should see the Shanghai Major playoffs lol
S1mple is the all time goat / best player atm are Donk, m0nesy, Zyw0o
you should definatly look into S1mple higlights if you like snipes :D
Try to learn something about spray pattern in CS. It really helps
Just based off some of the questions you ask, I can tell you would be able to adapt to the game quite quickly. You definitely understand FPS fundamentals. Would just need to learn the maps for crosshair placement and callouts. Maybe hit an aim training server and just practice shooting with mouse n key to get used to the recoil then you should be good to go!
yeah most ppl underestimate how much cod can teach u 😭😭😂 and thanks for supporting man i appreciate u 🙏🙏
