Just be selective and be especially wary of electronics. Same argument why you can buy some things at family dollar stores or say the generic "Walmart" branded options. Housewares, school supplies, textiles and anything that you don't need to be extraordinary sturdy.

You're buying Chinese knock-offs. You takes yer chances...
exactly
I'll take my chances, sometimes they are the exact same items, where do you think Nike makes their shoes? Sure sometimes things are a little off but I can live with it for 50% off %
@@Native722 Me too, really, as long as I go in with my eyes open. I'm currently waiting on delivery of an Android smartwatch GPS/4G phone (takes a nanoSIM card, and Apple Watch bands) that cost me 50USD on aliexpress. I'll see what happens when it gets here.
So, all they did was test if the products work but didn't test the difference in chemical components of the comparible items?? This is important.
I buy all my crafting goods from Temu and I'm happy with the cost and quality. I've bought clothing and I know I'm getting what I pay for, but I did buy boots for $15 that turned out to be way mor comfortable than Skechers one at five times the price.
They are also fair on customer service. One package was missing one item, a $2 storage box, and they refunded the entire package worth over $30 even after I told them it was only one item.
I also like the price adjustment feature and I've had zero problems with returns and refunds.
What I find sad is the people buying tons of stuff simply to make video content for their channel and the losers who actually watch them. I wonder how much of that stuff is returned to Temu after filming. I had one video pop up in my suggestions and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
I like temu also
I've actually bought lots of things off Temu for my wedding and so far it's been fantastic 🎉
This is the most useful thing I've seen from mainstream media since 2016...
No. Someone gave us a pair of temu, shoes that their child couldn't fit. My son was able to wear them about 2 or 3 times before they fell apart.
I heard someone say that about 75% of what you order will be worth it and I tend to agree. Mostly I noticed that decor with writing is often misspelled and things are often smaller than they appear online but there are definitely some unique items on there.
One time trial isn’t going to tell you anything. It’s not going to last.
These type of products probably have a ton of chemicals
I have concerns about the non-electronics being safe. Haven’t some items from China contained alarming amounts of lead in the paint?
Sure on the surface it might seem similar to the brand name product how much spyware and lead does the product come with, or how long it will last 😅
What's a Temu? 🤔
When a Chinese company steals the design from a name brand it can get close but not close enough. Avoid buying junk.
Buying crap we don't need with money we don't have. Which pile of useless crap is better?
These are just the prices items should be
Never shopped on Temu ...😒
I’m too paranoid to shop from Temu, I’m afraid the products will have spyware attached to it. I have nothing to hide but I also want nothing shared. I don’t even have the app on my phone. 😂
I love Temu, just dont buy electric items, they won't be good, or they broke fast.
Buy cat house for stray cats and leave it outdoors.
I recommend buying anything else. Just make sure u check the measurements of the items.
I bought a package off of them it was supposed to come November 24th it still hasn't came and it's been saying stuck in transit for 10 days
Doesn't hurt to try some things
Generally these products don't last long. Also their prices and Temu's strategy leads to compulsive shopping or buying things you end up not using. The overall effect is more garbage, that's the biggest problem. From clothes to electronics, it's all ending up in landfills at a ridiculous pace.
Temu just seems too good to be true. Idk what it is, but that company is up to something… it’s a gut feeling.
Most if not all of their items are junk! I once bought a product like this on eBay and it did not last one day. You truly get what you pay for.
Just be selective and be especially wary of electronics. Same argument why you can buy some things at family dollar stores or say the generic "Walmart" branded options. Housewares, school supplies, textiles and anything that you don't need to be extraordinary sturdy.
I always bought a lot of stuff from Temu and never have any problems
🇨🇳 probably hacked her whole life story with that ring and app. lol
I just used it for the first time last night, but it was some storage bins that you can buy on Amazon but for about 2/3 of the price and some cleaning supplies. Simple things and no electronics. Now it is a waiting game.
The old saying still holds true: You get what you pay for. Lower cost = lower quality.
Beware of Chinese electronic products, it might explode - Jackie Chan 😂😂😂
bought a hanheld console and the screen went kaput in 2 days. wasn't worth it.
Temu’s business model is the rely on the gullibility of the American public who buy this crap based on Tik Tok videos made by influencers paid by Temu to hawk their products. No wonder they can afford to put on commercials during the Super Bowl.
Cheap Chinese products are never the answer.
I would be hesitant to buy anything from Temu that has contact with food, they use cheap materials and rush making products which may be food safety hazards. I would also not buy any electronics because they likely won't work well and may be fire hazards.
Best part part of the video is her newsprint shirt at the end. Great theme dressing.
Worth it? No... Saved you 5 minutes. You're welcome.
yea this news channel is a joke
@Len1977gt it seems like they just hit on popular trends.
To me, it's worth it. A lot of times you'll find the exact same items on Temu on Amazon but just a lot cheaper.
@Native722 Yep, and it won't last creating more e-waste. Go you 👍
when the internal components melt and leach materials, at least it'll be hard to know unless it smells funny, looks strange, tastes weird or makes you sick
probably great products until the warranty expires - if the warranty would even be honored
I could have told you all this junk they're hustling into this country is poor quality.... That's why I make a fortune selling items on Facebook marketplace from estate sales and garage sales quality vintage made in USA goods like Pyrex CorningWare Westinghouse old school made in America products small kitchen appliances blenders etc we are sick and tired of all this poor quality throw away junk made in foreign countries. Here in Indiana my side hustle is astounding selling these made in America vintage goods I find
i told my mom i didn’t want any temu or shein stuff as gifts and she got soooooo offended.
More junk to fill landfills. Extremely sad.
Temu and shien for me is ok for clothes only and other garments. For house stuff like kettle and house decorations yeah it's good.
I buy from temu but never electronics … I buy decorations … basic kitchen stuff !!!
A lot of the clothes on temu are made with toxic material wayyyy over what’s regarded as “safe” so I would just not buy from the app in general
Where do you think your clothes are made from? China
🎉sometimes there are good items other times not
Definitely don’t leave the app on your phone if you do buy anything….
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Temu!! DOZENS of items that I can ACTUALLY afford!!
I've been shopping them for OVER A YEAR, and not disappointed YET!!
When you live on $1200/month and STILL want to eat, AND need things, it's the ONLY place to go!!
Hints:
READ descriptions.
Don't buy what you DON'T need.
USE the refund policy AND price adjustments.
You will NOT be disappointed!!
So they bought six items from Temu… This is like high school level journalism. Newsflash! A $14 smart watch isn’t great.
Temu is very good for plastic products but not for tech
Tech products are dicy . The charger I bought heated up at melded into my phone ruining it. Had to buy a new one. So in saving a few dollars ended spending 600.
short answer: No
long answer: NNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Saved you 5 minutes
Obviously the more expensive items are better. But for the price difference they're aren't that much better lol
So half the stuff is garbage. I've never bought from Temu, and don't plan to. I have enough junk in my house. No need to add to it.
I like Temu.
Do people even for think for one moment before buying that, employees at this place maybe be horribly paid
If paid at all.
Why is America failing...?
1/5 purchases are made on Chinese websites...
And 4/5 products are made in China
